Enterprise Solution Architect, Life Sciences

• Architect scalable solutions across projects within Nagarro's Life Sciences Business Unit. • Actively contribute to proposal building, bid preparation, and client presentations for global clients. • Define overall system architecture (microservices, event-driven, etc.) • Choose technology stack (languages, frameworks, databases) • Create high-level design diagrams and technical specifications. • Leverage AI in the solution proposals. • Guide development teams on best practices, including usage of AI. • Review code and ensure architectural alignment. • Ensure system meets: Scalability, Performance, Security, Reliability. • Define standards for logging, monitoring, and error handling. • Work with Product and Project managers, Business stakeholders, DevOps and QA Management. • Translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Define coding standards and architectural guidelines, considering AI processes. • Identify technical risks early and make trade-offs between cost, speed, and quality.

Job Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience working within the IT domain with a technical background in software engineering and data analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of solution architecture for data analytics, BI, cloud, and application development purposes.
  • Hands-on expertise in cloud services, BI and data integration tools.
  • Application Development: background with Python, Java, or .NET, for data-heavy applications.
  • Previous exposure to IT projects within the Life Sciences industry or similar highly regulated environments.
  • Business & Pre-Sales Skills: Experience with proposal development, bid preparation, and solution presentation.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with C-level life sciences stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate technical solutions into business outcomes.
  • Fluent in English.

The Role: As a Senior Solutions Architect specializing in containerized solutions, you will play a crucial, pioneering role in this new initiative. Your primary focus will be leading the deployment of these self-hosted solutions within our complex enterprise customer environments. Given the unique nature of every customer environment, you will be the key liaison for translating the customer's technical requirements to ensure successful deployment on the client's infrastructure and successful integrations with their source systems. Furthermore, you will lead discussions on user management and authentication, acting as a technical partner to remove any technical barriers to user adoption. The work you'll do: You will serve as the central technical stakeholder for successful delivery and onboarding of the Celonis platform for our enterprise clients. - Deployment Leadership: Lead complex technical discussions to analyze customer architecture, recommend optimal containerized solutions, and facilitate deployment, expertly managing expectations amidst technical constraints. - Technical Integration: Establish real-time data integrations between customer systems and Celonis using APIs and internal tools. - Adoption Enablement: Actively remove technical obstacles to maximize Celonis user adoption, clarifying technical risks and necessary trade-offs for stakeholders. - Identity & Access Management: Guide customers on authentication (SSO), user/group management (LDAP), and provisioning best practices, removing technical barriers to adoption. - Platform Optimization: Promote reusability by discerning between dedicated customer solutions and broader platform enhancements, collaborating directly with Celonis Product Development. The qualifications you need: - 6+ years in a deployment/integration role with at least 3+ years of proven deploying and managing containerized applications on Kubernetes. - Advanced knowledge with at least one specific Kubernetes distribution (Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, RedHat OpenShift, etc). - Proven knowledge and best practices in deploying, scaling, and maintaining highly available, secure and resilient containerized applications on Kubernetes, ensuring efficient resource utilization and operational stability. - Proven experience implementing infrastructure as code (IaC, e.g. with Terraform) is required; Helm or Kustomize experience is strongly preferred.
