• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom programmatic solutions on the Salesforce platform • Build and maintain seamless integrations between Salesforce and external business applications • Utilize declarative and programmatic tools to build automation that streamlines business processes • Own the development lifecycle, including code reviews, unit tests, and source control management • Serve as the subject matter expert on Salesforce technical capabilities and security best practices • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across the Salesforce platform and connected systems
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer
- Expertise in Salesforce programmatic development: Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce data modeling, security architecture, and governor limits
- Strong experience with Salesforce integration patterns using REST/SOAP APIs
- Required Certification: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (Platform Developer II preferred)
- Proficiency with development tools including VS Code, Git/Version Control, CI/CD deployment tools
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Our team is looking for a technical leader with broad experience in Salesforce-based production environments. As a Senior Salesforce Developer at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, you’d work primarily in Salesforce Health Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
