National University
• Provides operational leadership to the NU Commons, bridging strategic direction with daily operations. • Oversees operational and programmatic functions of the Commons. • Guides development and implementation of Commons communities. • Partners and works collaboratively with leadership, schools, and departments throughout the university. • Manages community launches and operational changes. • Maintains and updates Commons guides, checklists, and resources. • Investigates and oversees engagement issues. • Leads design and implementation of engagement campaigns. • Administers the Quarterly Commons Engagement Recognition Awards.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a student support/customer service role required.
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university required.
- Master’s degree in Higher Education & Student Affairs, Organizational Leadership, Communications, Public Administration or related field, preferred.
- Knowledge of University platforms, resources, services.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Online community development experience.
- Strong communication and rapport building skills (written and verbal).
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to work in an online, fast-paced environment independently.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Skill in basic computer functions: email, Zoom, web-based technology, etc.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
