We are currently seeking a Contract Communications Manager to support internal communications for company acquisitions, with a primary focus on delivering clear, timely, and empathetic communications that create a positive experience for employees joining Enverus through acquisition. This role is execution-focused and hands-on. The ideal candidate excels at developing and delivering communications, adapting playbooks to real-world integration needs, and ensuring employees of acquired companies feel informed, supported, and connected throughout the integration journey. This is a full-time contractor role for six months or more and is intentionally less senior than a director role, with success measured by quality, clarity, and consistency of execution. The role works closely with Communications, HR, IT, and Integration teams and embraces an AI-first mindset to improve efficiency, speed, and scalability of communications delivery. Performance Objectives Acquisition & Integration Communications - Develop and execute internal communications plans for acquisitions, from announcement through integration milestones. - Create clear, employee-centric messaging for acquired employees, including Day 1 communications, FAQs, leadership messages, and change updates. - Translate complex integration activities (systems, policies, organizational changes) into simple, accessible communications. - Partner closely with HR, IT, Legal, and Integration leads to ensure accuracy, timing, and alignment of messaging. - Support leadership and people managers with communication toolkits and talking points to reinforce consistency and clarity. Playbook Development & Adaptation - Execute against the existing acquisition communications and integration playbook. - Continuously refine and improve playbook content based on employee feedback, lessons learned, and acquisition complexity. - Tailor communications approaches to the size, culture, and needs of each acquired organization while maintaining Enverus voice and values. Employee Experience Focus - Champion the employee experience for acquired teams by ensuring communications are empathetic, inclusive, and transparent. - Proactively identify areas of confusion or concern and recommend communications to address them. - Support storytelling that helps acquired employees understand Enverus' mission, culture, and ways of working. Content Development & Channel Execution - Draft, edit, and deliver high-quality internal communications including emails, intranet content, FAQs, leadership announcements, and presentations. - Manage timelines, approvals, and distribution across internal channels to ensure timely delivery. - Maintain consistent tone, voice, and messaging across all acquisition communications. AI-Enabled Efficiency - Use Generative AI tools to accelerate drafting, editing, summarization, and localization of communications. - Apply AI thoughtfully to improve speed and scale while maintaining human judgment, quality, and empathy. - Help identify repeatable templates and workflows that improve efficiency for future acquisitions. Success Measures - Acquired employees receive clear, timely, and consistent communications throughout the integration process. - Communications are accurate, well-structured, and easy to understand, even during complex change. - Integration playbooks improve over time based on real-world execution and feedback. - Stakeholders experience Communications as organized, responsive, and execution-oriented. - AI tools are used effectively to increase efficiency without compromising quality. Competitive Candidate Profile Required Experience - 7-10 years of experience in internal communications, change communications, or corporate communications. - Hands-on experience supporting M&A, acquisitions, or large-scale organizational change. - Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex information. - Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines in fast-moving environments. - Comfortable working in a contractor role that emphasizes delivery and execution. Preferred Attributes - Experience in technology or SaaS environments. - Familiarity with HR, IT, and operational integration communications. - Practical experience using Generative AI tools to support communications workflows. - Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable with a strong sense of ownership. - Collaborative working style with the confidence to partner across functions.
