Role Description The role is responsible for driving a high-quality, user-centered design practice across the organization. This includes owning and evolving the design system, ensuring consistent design processes, leading a high-performing design team, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to create exceptional user experiences aligned with business goals. What You'll Do - Own and continuously improve the organization’s design system, ensuring consistency across all products and platforms. - Establish and enforce design standards, best practices, and processes across teams. - Promote proper use of design patterns and guidelines to maintain quality and scalability. - Ensure all design work follows the defined end-to-end design process, including user research, service design mapping, persona development, user flows, prototyping, testing, and QA validation. - Maintain high-quality and consistent design outputs across all deliverables. - Drive continuous improvement of user experience by leveraging user insights, data analysis, usability testing, and customer feedback. - Identify opportunities to enhance and optimize user journeys across products and services. - Lead user and market research to understand user behavior, needs, and expectations. - Conduct competitive analysis to identify gaps, opportunities, and best practices. - Translate insights into actionable recommendations that inform product and design decisions. - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing design team. - Set clear expectations, provide feedback, and support career growth within the team. - Support hiring and onboarding of design talent aligned with team and business needs. - Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other stakeholders to align design with business and product goals. - Facilitate alignment through workshops, planning sessions, and continuous communication. - Clearly communicate design direction, decisions, and rationale to stakeholders through presentations and documentation. - Represent the design team across the organization and ensure strong stakeholder alignment. - Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices. - Integrate relevant innovations into the design system, processes, and team capabilities. Qualifications - Minimum 6 years of experience. - Minimum 2 years of experience in leading and managing a team of designers. - Proven experience in a senior UX, Product Design, and Design Leadership role, within a digital product environment. - Proficiency in Figma. - Proficiency in UX methodologies and using tools like Maze. - Ability to translate research insights into actionable recommendations and design improvements. - Experience leading a design team and managing end-to-end design processes with design systems. - Track record of delivering design work on time and to specification, with thorough documentation suitable for engineering handoff. Job Summary The Product Manager is responsible for Imprivata’s strategic collaboration with Epic. This role is a new addition to a small but high-performing team in Product Management. This role will be the point person for Imprivata’s relationship with Epic. The Product Manager will coordinate across all departments to integrate, optimize, and develop roadmaps related to the EHR.
