Role Description The Global Engagement Manager supports The Community Solution Education System’s mission of preparing innovative, engaged, purposeful agents of change who serve our global community. Responsibilities include coordination, promotion, and facilitation of a diverse range of recruitment strategies and engagement initiatives to drive international student enrollments. The Global Engagement Manager ensures prospective international students’ progress smoothly through the recruitment process, from lead generation to inquiry management and application completion. - Implement The Community Solution Education System's international recruitment and engagement strategies, focusing on key priority regions. - Recruit prospective undergraduate and graduate international students via multi-channel local, national, and international recruitment and engagement efforts. - Achieve international recruitment goals by managing and converting prospective students across the full enrollment funnel. - Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agents, ensuring effective performance and compliance with institutional and federal regulations. - Collaborate with Marketing teams to create targeted recruitment materials and campaigns for international audiences. - Deliver market insights and accurate enrollment forecasts through consistent, specific, and detailed reports to key stakeholders. - Assist Director(s) with partnership building, execution, and sustainability of MOUs across regions. - Identify opportunities to increase international student presence through international recruitment and engagement activities. - Work with the Global Engagement team to achieve international student recruitment goals and overall international strategy. - Ensure accurate reporting and tracking of international student activities in the CRM system. - Examine current international admissions, recruitment, and engagement processes for continuous improvement. - Communicate with college admissions teams regarding student pre-departure briefings and orientations. - Serve as international liaison to the System’s international student organizations. - Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications - Comprehensive knowledge of the student recruitment landscape as it pertains to The Community Solution Education System member college academic programs. - Knowledge of immigration rules and regulations pertaining to college admissions policies and procedures. - Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM system. - Proficiency with social media platforms; website editing a plus. - Proven ability to monitor and evaluate the success of activities and report appropriately. - Must be a self-starter, with an entrepreneurial disposition. - Results-oriented; intrinsically driven to succeed. - Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations. - Sufficient analytical skills to assess recruitment efforts and help develop innovative student recruitment and engagement programs. - Consistently demonstrate cultural sensitivity and diplomacy. - Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to deliver presentations/trainings effectively. - Ability to exercise discretion/independent judgment and act upon decisions within the scope of delegated authority. - Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities while working independently. - Flexibility in schedule to accommodate domestic/international time zones and travel. - Understanding of the Canadian postsecondary education system a strong asset. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree required. - TEFL or TESOL certification a plus. - Three or more years of direct experience working with international education programs, international student services, and/or higher education administration within a multi-cultural environment. - Two or more years of direct experience successfully working with international agents. Working Conditions - This position is a full-time remote position based in Toronto, Ontario, working 40-44 hours/week. - Travel may occur during evenings, weekends, and outside of typical business hours.
