VFX Resource Manager

Role Description The Resource Manager is responsible for overseeing the allocation and utilization of artists across multiple VFX projects, ensuring efficient use of resources while supporting production goals and timelines. Working closely with Producers, VFX Supervisors, Department Heads, and HR, the Resource Manager plays a central role in balancing workload, anticipating resource needs, and maintaining visibility over team capacity. This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative position requiring strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of the VFX pipeline. Key Responsibilities - Allocate artists and technical staff to projects based on skills, availability, and production priorities - Collaborate with Producers, Supervisors, and Department Heads to align resource planning with project schedules - Monitor team capacity, utilization, and workload distribution across departments - Proactively identify resource gaps, conflicts, or bottlenecks and propose effective solutions - Maintain and update resource planning tools (e.g., Fftrack, Excel, or similar systems) - Support short- and long-term resource forecasting and workforce planning - Partner with HR and recruitment to identify and address hiring needs (freelance and permanent) - Contribute to the continuous improvement of resource management processes and workflows Qualifications - Minimum 3+ years of experience in VFX, production coordination, or resource management within a VFX or post-production environment - Strong understanding of the VFX pipeline and departmental workflows - Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage shifting priorities - Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities - Experience working with resource planning and project management tools (e.g., Ftrack, Excel, etc.) - Fluent in English (written and spoken) Requirements - Experience working in an international or multi-site studio environment (Nice to Have) - Understanding of freelance workforce management within the VFX industry (Nice to Have) Benefits - Opportunity to work on high-end VFX projects across film, television, and advertising - A collaborative, international, and highly skilled team environment - Exposure to global productions and cross-studio workflows How to Apply If you’re interested in joining our team as a Resource Manager, please submit your application through our application form. Job Requirements
