• Responsible for accelerating the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) program objectives and ensuring data integrity. • Identify and prioritize initiatives for reducing greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) within White Cap's sales process, logistics operations, and support functions. • Collaborate with internal experts to determine optimal strategies for operational improvements and emissions reductions while ensuring customer service levels are maintained or enhanced. • Assess industry best practices and regulatory frameworks to define requirements, obtain commitments from internal data providers, collect and validate information, and synthesize data for reporting. • Provide analysis, narrative, and presentation materials for various sustainability reports, including White Cap's annual report, regulatory disclosures, lender/bondholder reports, executive and board-level presentations, and ratings agencies. • Educate key internal stakeholders in various departments about current and future ESG initiatives and regulations that will impact processes. • Establish and maintain an intranet presence, host update meetings, and gather feedback from stakeholders to raise awareness of ESG initiatives within the company. • Support senior leadership in adopting commercial sustainability initiatives. • Propose new commercialization ideas by researching market developments in adjacent industries and collaborating with bankers and external ESG advisors. • Develop initiatives that may include marketing environmentally preferable products and providing customers with enhanced emissions disclosures. • Maintain detailed records of company ESG data, including GHG emissions, policies, and associate data in an audit-ready environment.
Job Requirements
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline
- Generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field
- Certification is required in some areas.
- Two (2) years' experience in advising and managing ESG impact reports, materiality analysis, and implementation of sustainability data.
- Knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks and reporting.

Job Description ICF is hiring a Senior International Trade Specialist/Advisor to perform a critical role within the Office of the Deputy Undersecretary (ODUS) of the International Labor Affairs Bureau (ILAB) at the U.S. Department of Labor. ILAB increases American job and wage growth by combating foreign labor abuses and unfair trade practices in global supply chains that undermine U.S. prosperity and security. The position requires the ability to provide expert advice to ILAB regarding opportunities in global commerce to create and enforce labor standards for trade agreements to combat child labor, forced labor, and human trafficking in global supply chains that undermine the American economy and security. The Senior International Trade Specialist/Advisor will play an important role in identifying international labor interventions designed to produce the greatest benefit for American workers through ensuring fair trade and labor standards are executed by U.S. trade partners. The position is expected to proactively seek opportunities and design activities through trade agreements and innovative partnerships with American businesses, labor organizations, community colleges and other vocational institutions, and public or private research laboratories. The position reports to the Trade Strategy and Initiatives Chief within ODUS and may be posted in Washington, DC or remotely.
