Service Technician

• Provide exceptional technical service on Smardt chillers, including indoor and outdoor equipment. • Perform equipment startups, commissioning, troubleshooting, warranty work, and routine maintenance. • Diagnose and resolve operational issues accurately, safely, and professionally. • Travel within the assigned local market and occasionally beyond, as required by business needs. • Communicate clearly with customers regarding equipment operation, maintenance requirements, service performed, and outstanding issues. • Complete installations, equipment deliveries, and removals in accordance with company standards. • Maintain availability for on-call emergency service, typically approximately one week every one to two months, or as business needs require. • Ensure all tools, testing devices, PPE, and service equipment are safe, properly maintained, and used in accordance with company requirements. • Recommend repair, replacement, or service options to customers when appropriate. • Promote service agreements and additional service work to support customer needs and equipment reliability. • Leverage technical support from head office or other internal resources when needed. • Complete service documentation, reports, and administrative requirements accurately and on time. • Follow all company safety standards, customer site requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Service Technician – Data Centers

• Provide technical support and field service on indoor and outdoor Smardt chillers. • Perform chiller startups, commissioning, troubleshooting, warranty work, repairs, and maintenance. • Service and troubleshoot chillers in the field, either within the local market or while traveling as required. • Deliver high customer satisfaction by communicating effectively and professionally with customers, internal teams, and external contacts. • Interact with customers to provide guidance on the operation and maintenance of their equipment. • Diagnose and resolve customer operational problems accurately and professionally. • Complete installations, deliveries, and removals of equipment required to perform installations in accordance with company standards. • Participate in the monitoring and maintenance of chiller systems. • Maintain availability for emergency customer calls as part of the on-call rotation, typically approximately one week every one to two months, or as required by business needs. • Keep customers informed regarding the nature of service performed, repairs completed, and any outstanding issues. • Ensure all tools, testing devices, and equipment are maintained in good and safe working order. • Ensure repairs and maintenance for testing equipment are performed in a timely manner. • Provide customers with appropriate recommendations regarding repair or replacement of existing equipment. • Promote add-on work or service agreements where appropriate to support customer needs. • Utilize technical support available through head office when additional troubleshooting assistance is required. • Complete service documentation, reports, and administrative requirements accurately and on time. • Follow all company safety standards, customer site requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements. • Assist head office and management with other related duties as required.

We're Looking For a Technical Support Specialist Work with the Technical Support Manager - West on matters that escalate above the Commercial Business Unit (Service) level in your coverage area (AMER/EMEA), with an emphasis on the North America region and equipment sold in the United States.
