Job Description This is a full-time remote position that can be located anywhere in the U.S. The Program Manager is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional programs from initiation through delivery. This role connects Product, Engineering/IT, Operations, Client Services, Finance, and external partners to translate business strategy into executable plans and measurable outcomes. The Program Manager owns delivery across multiple interrelated projects, manages scope and dependencies, and ensures teams stay aligned on priorities, risks, and decisions. This role operates with limited day-to-day supervision, exercises sound judgment in ambiguous environments, and partners closely with functional leaders and executive sponsors to drive results. Program Leadership & Delivery: - Own end-to-end delivery of one or more complex programs, coordinating multiple projects and workstreams - Define and maintain integrated program plans, milestones, dependencies, and RAID logs - Ensure programs deliver on agreed business outcomes, timelines, and quality standards - Translate high-level strategy and ambiguous requirements into clear execution plans Governance: - Establish and run effective program governance, cadence meetings, and decision forums - Provide clear, concise program status reporting to leadership and executive stakeholders - Surface risks early, manage trade-offs, and recommend options - Document key decisions, scope changes, and acceptance criteria Execution: - Manage scope, budget, risk, and dependencies across teams with competing priorities - Confirm readiness at major milestones, including testing, UAT, and go-live - Coordinate issue resolution across internal teams, vendors, and clients - Maintain momentum and accountability without adding unnecessary process or overhead Collaboration: - Partner with functional managers, project managers, business owners, and technical leads - Act as a team lead, coordinating the work of project managers or contributors - Foster strong working relationships across matrixed teams and external partners Qualifications - 8+ years of experience leading cross-functional programs or complex projects end-to-end - Demonstrated experience operating in matrixed environments with multiple stakeholders - Strong command of Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid delivery methodologies - Proven ability to manage scope, risk, dependencies, and change effectively - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level communication - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or a related field - PMP or PgMP certification Preferred - MBA or post‑graduate coursework - Experience in SaaS or technology-enabled services environments - Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, Wrike, Azure DevOps, MS Project, SharePoint, or Salesforce Benefits We’re committed to supporting your ultimate well-being through our total compensation package offerings that support your health, wealth and self. Job Description The Field Experience Coordinator is the Walden University staff member responsible for working closely with students and field instructors to secure field placements. Field experience coordinators hold a MSW degree.
