Regional Sales Manager – West
OLIPOP PBC
• Represent OLIPOP in the SoPac region and manage retail performance in CA, NV, AZ, and HI • Prioritize time to focus on the highest impact areas • Work with and inspire distributor partners, third-party sales resources, retailers, and internal sales team • Explore and drive new opportunities while building on current sales velocities • Work closely with the Director of Sales – West to develop, sell, and promote the brand • Manage and lead field sales team in the SoPac Market • Lead, mentor and develop field sales team to meet KPIs • Navigate task conflict and provide feedback to the team as needed • Set monthly priorities and goals for the team • Set and build out field strategy for the SoPac Market
Job Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in sales within a consumer-packaged goods company (beverage preferred)
- 1+ year of experience preferred in people leadership, leading a field sales team
- Experience in the natural & conventional retail channels and relevant classes of trade with CPG selling background in refrigerated space is highly preferred
- Established relationships and demonstrated success working with key retail accounts along with the leading brokers and distributors (UNFI, KeHE, LAD, CCD, etc)
- Ability to identify white space opportunity, take initiative and work autonomously
- Works well with ambiguity – can navigate in the grey and asks the right questions to get at the solution
- Deeply passionate about the brand, inspired by what we represent, and have a desire to make an impact with your career
- Enthusiastic and comfortable working in a rapidly growing and changing environment
- Proficient in Data Tools (SPINS, DSD depletions, Retailer Portals) and Trade Math (selling price, margins, etc) and ability to evaluate the business and your performance analytically
- Strong planning, organizational, project management along with excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication and presentation skills, including full competence with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)
- Analyze opportunities quickly and have an ability to execute company goals efficiently
- Resourcefulness to improvise and adapt to deal with daily challenges via creative problem solving
- 50%+ estimated travel for the role, including overnight stays.
- Physical Requirements / Working Conditions: must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

• Work closely with internal resources and individually to build a successful pipeline to meet and exceed your individual sales quota • Identify new business opportunities whilst establishing, developing and maintaining relationships up to executive-levels within your assigned portfolio • Network within the client’s business and influence key decision makers, typically at C-level • Act as CrowdStrike ambassador within specific client accounts • Expands sales within existing and/or new accounts while building relationships with key decision makers • Articulate and promote the company’s value proposition and services to become a trusted advisor within your customer base • Identify new business opportunities and prepare detailed account development plans, engagement strategies and targets for each account within your assigned portfolio • Working in collaboration with internal teams and to lead a virtual team to drive and close opportunities • Take control of opportunities and accurately forecast their business objectives and outcomes.
