Marketing Assistant

Role Description Pavago is hiring on behalf of a growing U.S.-based e-commerce and live selling business that operates across platforms such as TikTok, Amazon, and Whatnot. We are looking for a Marketing Assistant who will play a key role in helping grow the founder’s personal brand and paid community. This role focuses on coordinating content, supporting marketing initiatives, managing social media workflows, and helping attract new members into the community. The ideal candidate understands how personal brands grow online, is comfortable working across social media platforms, and can help execute marketing initiatives that increase visibility, engagement, and community growth. While the role includes some operational responsibilities related to livestream commerce and customer communication, prior experience in those areas is not required. The most important qualities are organization, curiosity, and a strong interest in marketing and audience growth. Key Responsibilities - Personal Brand & Content Management - Maintain and manage a structured content calendar across platforms such as TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and Facebook - Coordinate content publishing schedules and ensure consistent posting across channels - Repurpose content across multiple platforms to maximize reach and engagement - Track content performance and engagement metrics to identify opportunities for growth - Research trends and topics that support the growth of the founder’s personal brand - Community Growth & Marketing - Support the growth of the Live Seller Community and Live Selling Academy - Assist with strategies to attract new community members and creators - Research potential community members and partners across social platforms - Support marketing funnels designed to move followers from discovery to community membership - Monitor engagement and help identify ways to increase community participation and retention - Customer Communication - Respond to customer and community inquiries through chat and email across platforms including TikTok, Whatnot, and Kajabi - Ensure professional and timely responses that maintain a strong customer experience - Monitor and address common questions from customers and community members - Livestream Operations Support - Assist with scheduling livestream sessions on platforms such as TikTok and Whatnot - Maintain livestream schedules and operational coordination using tools such as Homebase - Support logistics for livestream selling sessions and related operational needs - Operational Support - Coordinate with warehouse teams regarding returns and operational updates - Track inventory issues and support product operations on platforms such as Amazon - Maintain internal records and documentation using company software - Assist with scheduling podcast interviews and managing follow-up communication - Process Improvement - Document recurring workflows and operational procedures through SOP creation - Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency - Research tools or systems that can help automate repetitive tasks and improve productivity Qualifications - Experience working with social media platforms such as TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, or X - Ability to manage content calendars and social media posting workflows - Basic understanding of content marketing and audience growth - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Experience working with spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel) - Strong written communication and attention to detail Requirements - Experience supporting personal brands or creators - Experience working with online communities or membership platforms - Familiarity with Kajabi or similar community platforms - Experience supporting e-commerce businesses or online sellers - Familiarity with livestream commerce platforms such as TikTok Live or Whatnot - Experience documenting workflows or creating SOPs What Success Looks Like Within the first few months, the Marketing Assistant will: - Help maintain consistent content posting and social media workflows - Support the growth of the founder’s personal brand and online presence - Assist in increasing membership in the Live Seller Community - Deliver timely and professional customer support across platforms - Improve internal organization through documentation and process improvements Interview Process - Initial Screening Interview (Pavago) - Client Interview - Final Decision
