• Leading complex initiatives, aligning project priorities with strategic goals, influencing key stakeholders, and developing Lean capabilities within the team. • Utilizing customer insight and market data to design future state visions for operational workstreams, partnering with commercial, digital, IT, and technology transformation teams to align and deliver on these visions. • Facilitating design and improvement workshops, Kaizen events, and training sessions leveraging Lean principles and best practices to drive step-change improvements in process capability, customer experience, and results. • Using Lean value stream mapping to analyze operations and identify opportunities for improved flow, reduced waste, and optimized resource utilization. • Investigating and identifying new technology capabilities to support workstream development toward the future state vision. • Building a 3–5 year detailed roadmap of major process, technology, and organizational changes required to deliver the future state vision. • Coaching cross-functional teams on Value Stream Mapping, Lean, DMAIC, Kaizen, Agile, and Design for Lean Six Sigma techniques to unlock maximum potential. • Partnering with operations to create and implement change management strategies throughout the roadmap lifecycle and monitoring key performance indicators for expected improvements. • Gathering, validating, and analyzing data to support continuous improvement initiatives and ongoing activities. • Developing and managing a prioritized hopper of improvement opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND (10) ten years of experience driving complex process redesign, lean improvement initiatives, and continuous improvement projects in a private, public, government or military environment OR High School Diploma/GED AND (16) sixteen years of experience driving complex process redesign, lean improvement initiatives, and continuous improvement projects in a private, public, government or military environment
- Design for Lean Six Sigma experience
- Two (2+) years’ experience with Lean Value Stream Mapping
