Location: Remote HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: We are seeking a detail-oriented and delivery-focused Technical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders, product ownership, and engineering teams. This role is responsible for translating business requirements into clear, actionable user stories, ensuring development readiness, and supporting quality assurance and user acceptance testing through to successful release. The ideal candidate is comfortable asking hard questions, uncovering gaps early, and driving clarity across the delivery lifecycle. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Requirements Analysis & Documentation - Analyze business requirement documents and decompose them into well-structured, development-ready user stories. - Proactively engage business owners and stakeholders to clarify ambiguities, identify gaps, and validate assumptions in requirements. - Ensure requirements are complete, testable, and aligned with business objectives before entering development. Support Backlog & Ticket Management - Help break down epics and features into appropriately sized tickets suitable for iterative development. - Define clear, measurable acceptance criteria for each user story to support both development and QA validation. - Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure tickets are technically feasible and properly scoped. Quality Assurance Support - Perform QA validation activities prior to promoting code to User Acceptance Testing (UAT). - Validate functionality against acceptance criteria and documented requirements. - Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring issues are resolved before UAT handoff. UAT Coordination - Partner closely with the Product Owner to plan, execute, and complete the UAT process. - Support business users during UAT by clarifying requirements, expected behaviors, and acceptance criteria. - Assist in triaging UAT findings and coordinating resolution with development teams. QUALIFICATIONS: Required Skills & Experience - Proven experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile or hybrid Agile environment. - Strong ability to translate business needs into user stories with clear acceptance criteria. - Experience working directly with business stakeholders to elicit and refine requirements. - Hands-on experience supporting QA and UAT activities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to ask precise, insightful questions. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
