Compliance Analyst, Privacy

• Serve as a privacy subject matter expert, providing guidance on federal and state healthcare privacy regulations to internal stakeholders and external clients. • Analyze privacy incidents and breaches; prepare reports and root-cause analyses, including recommendations for corrective and preventive actions. • Maintain privacy incident tracking logs and follow up on corrective action plans to ensure timely and effective resolution. • Support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of processes and procedures to mitigate identified and potential privacy risks. • Partner with customer health plans across multiple lines of business, including Commercial, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid. • Conduct internal privacy monitoring activities and audits to assess compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare privacy or health plan compliance experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Prior experience interpreting and applying regulatory and/or contractual compliance requirements

Description FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Reports to: Wholesale Operations Manager Work Location: Remote Schedule: M - F (west coast business hours) Summary: The purpose of this position is to provide consistent and thorough compliance support to the mortgage lending staff by ensuring all regulatory requirements of the TILA/RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) rule are met while following all other regulatory and investor guidelines through disclosing and pricing of mortgage loans. Duties and Responsibilities: - Prepare, generate, and deliver accurate initial mortgage loan disclosures within TRID guidelines - Prepare disclosures with change of circumstances to broker partners and loan officers - Manage requests to disclose updated fees and re-work loans as necessary - Act as a broker contact for mortgage disclosure activities - Research and maintain a high level of knowledge of TRID as well as product guidelines - Other duties as required Requirements Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Working knowledge of federal lending regulations, CFPB, and TRID requirements for Mortgage disclosures - Working knowledge of 1st mortgage products - Knowledge of mortgage lending business terminology and process flow - Knowledge of mortgage lending policies and procedures - Knowledge of investor and lending guidelines - Ability to analyze documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements - Ability to analyze and problem solve to create positive outcomes for all interested parties - Ability to prioritize/manage workload and allocate resources - Organized, detail oriented, flexible and able to multi-task in an ever-changing environment - Display positive, professional demeanor and work independently with little supervision - Self-motivated - Willingness to take on other tasks that support the goals of the Company while remaining flexible in an ever-changing environment - Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills - Ability to hold information in strict confidence - Computer skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel - Analytical and mathematical skills Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent - 3+ years of mortgage experience with at least one year of experience working as a disclosure desk analyst, mortgage processor, mortgage servicing or other related experience
