Junior Proposal Writer

• Creates compliant and compelling proposal content by thoroughly analyzing the solicitation requirements and working as part of a team. • Assignments include supporting and leading past performance and resume creation with some oversight and coaching. • Uses critical thinking skills to iteratively develop content using best practices such as storyboarding. • Delivers required artifacts according to the schedule. • Collaborates with other proposal team members to integrate win themes, discriminators, and strengths into assigned written sections. • Ensures accuracy of data and alignment of assigned section with overall proposal strategy and messaging. • Will serve as a past performance or resume writer covering multiple contracts or candidates. This is for a junior-level position.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's with 1-3 years (or commensurate experience)
  • Experience responding to Government solicitations, RFPs, RFQs, etc.
  • Ability to write compliant and compelling proposal sections in response to Government solicitations in support of a variety of departments and agencies (Federal/Civilian and DoD/IC).
  • Experience writing and tailoring content for non-technical proposal sections (e.g., past performance, resumes) for a wide variety of IT solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment.
