• Install, maintain and repair electronic and mechanical medical devices and provide customer training • Ensure technically flawless and cost-effective execution of service work • Coordinate and adhere to commissioning and service appointments (e.g., with site managers, project managers, sales, service back office and customers) • Analyze faults and define corrective actions; hand over systems and equipment to customers and document the handover • Advise customers on service and commissioning matters • Investigate causes in warranty cases, determine the scope of damage/repair and forward a warranty recommendation for decision • Plan and implement measures to ensure system availability in the event of faults within contractual timeframes and order/allocate spare parts • Prepare system and equipment documentation and related records (e.g., checklists, statistics, fault logs) • Advise customers regarding repair or replacement/new procurement • Identify customer spare part and new procurement needs and pass information to sales
