• Develop and implement category strategies for the following product groups: Anesthesia and Intensive Care, Cardiology, Electrophysiology (EPU) and Cardiac Surgery, Vascular Medicine, Neurosurgery / Neurostimulation and Interventional Neuroradiology (INR) • Identify, plan and execute group-wide standardization projects, involving end-user groups at the company’s hospitals • Maintain and develop existing and new supplier relationships • Ensure availability and quality of products • Work closely with strategic purchasing and the operational departments

• Identify potential suppliers • Negotiate contract terms, conditions and pricing • Track orders and ensure timely delivery • Oversee product quality control • Prepare purchasing reports, including cost analyses • Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed • Liaise with distributors for product registration in their countries • Work collaboratively with suppliers • Inventory management • Create and maintain bill of materials (BOMs) • Update and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• Support sourcing processes (RFx preparation, supplier communication, bid comparison) for assigned procurement initiatives • Assist with supplier selection activities and prepare procurement documentation • Coordinate contract preparation, review, and approval processes together with Procurement Lead and legal teams • Maintain contract documentation, onboarding forms, and compliance records • Track key contract dates (renewals, expirations) and ensure timely follow-up with stakeholders • Maintain regular communication with suppliers regarding service delivery, documentation, and operational issues • Support resolution of supplier-related issues by collecting information and coordinating with internal stakeholders • Assist with supplier performance tracking and prepare supporting materials for reviews • Support procurement KPI tracking and assist in cost savings validation • Maintain procurement databases and contract repositories ensuring accuracy and completeness • Collaborate with internal teams (finance, legal, technical stakeholders) to ensure procurement processes are executed efficiently • Act as a procurement contact person for day-to-day operational requests within assigned domains

• Contribute to the strategic management of multiple categories in Austria by translating overarching company and country objectives into concrete category initiatives and initiating appropriate corrective actions when performance deviates from plan. • Work closely with Controlling, Country Management and the extended Country Management team as part of the annual planning and forecasting processes. • Bring category expertise, market knowledge and data-driven recommendations to support sound financial planning. • Continuously optimize assortment strategy and the onboarding roadmap, including bundles and sets, to increase average basket value and contribution margins while maintaining strong market coverage. • Act as the strategic interface to cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Pricing, Procurement, CRO, Marketplace, CRM, Country Management) to ensure aligned execution and actively shape country-specific projects. • Lead a small team of three Category Managers, foster their professional and personal development, and establish efficient processes and scalable ways of working.
