Lead Procurement Specialist
Revalize
• Develop and implement the Company’s end-to-end procurement process, including approval workflow, sourcing and purchasing controls. • Draft and own procurement policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and standards. • Build and maintain a centralized supplier database and procurement documentation system. • Establish standardized sourcing and vendor evaluation processes. • Lead RFP/RFQ processes and negotiate pricing, contract terms, and purchasing agreement. • Apply AI-based analytics to evaluate spend data, detect patterns, and generate actionable cost-saving insights. • Use AI-powered supplier discovery tools to identify new vendors, evaluate capabilities, and assess risk profiles. • Establish vendor onboarding, qualification, risk assessment, and ongoing performance evaluation program. • Collaborate with Finance, IT, Legal, and other teams to define requirements and forecast purchasing needs. • Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement across the supply base. • Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement effectiveness. • Recommend and implement procurement technology tools or systems to streamline purchasing activities. • Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management and stakeholders on spending, vendor performance, and potential risks.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of procurement or supply chain experience, ideally in a fast paced start up environment.
- Demonstrated experience creating procurement processes, policies, or sourcing frameworks.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills.
- Building and maintaining procurement systems.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, cost-analysis techniques, and compliance standards.
