• Drive the end-to-end development of mechanical hardware components and subsystems, leading cross-functional teams (Design, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality, and Reliability). • Create, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules, milestones, and deliverables. • Proactively identify risks, mitigate bottlenecks, and implement recovery plans to prevent project slippage. • Work closely with stakeholders to define, design, review, and evaluate product specifications. • Provide technical expertise to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing (DFM), assembly (DFA), and reliability. • Act as the single point of contact for project status, communicating technical and schedule risks to leadership. • Manage engineering change orders (ECOs) and configuration management to ensure smooth transitions across design iterations and build phases. • Maintain all design control documentation. • Coordinate prototype builds and pilot/production ramp-up, ensuring validation and testing requirements are met.

• Oversee a team of project engineers to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of technical designs for assigned projects • Direct the completion of technical design packages for customer projects, ensuring they are accurate and meet contract specifications • Manage and mentor a team of project engineers, providing technical guidance and conducting regular performance reviews • Implement established engineering processes, design review checkpoints, and documentation standards across the team • Work closely with project managers, drafting teams, and field staff to resolve design issues and clarify technical requirements • Monitor team workload to ensure engineering milestones support permitting, procurement, and construction deadlines • Lead project-level design reviews and perform quality assurance checks on all team deliverables • Identify and recommend improvements to design tools and workflows to increase team efficiency • Serve as a resource for the team regarding design decisions, technical problem-solving, and code compliance

• Lead quality for mechanical design by developing procedures, standards, and guidance • Collaborate with other discipline engineers and manage quality through the design workflow review • Drive excellence in health, safety, and welfare for mechanical engineering • Provide technical leadership regarding standards, training, and consistency

• Attend and actively participate in design team meetings • Lead electrical design initiatives, ensuring high standards and quality of electrical systems design • Electrical drafting and design using AutoCAD (Revit experience is required) • Prepare electrical design calculations, technical specifications, and engineering reports • Produce both outline and detailed electrical design and construction drawings • Conduct feasibility studies and prepare investigative technical reports • Perform periodic site visits, inspections, snagging, and design verification • Utilize electrical design software packages with strong attention to detail and proper documentation formatting
