Tech Lead – Full-Stack

Rockstar

• Own complex technical projects end-to-end, from architecture through delivery • Partner closely with an existing tech lead, design and build across the full stack • Drive technical decisions with minimal oversight in a distributed, async-first environment • Spend most of time writing code and designing systems, not managing people • Core product features across the advisor and investor portal experiences • Financial data integrations: Apex AscendOS, Plaid, Stripe, and future custodial partners • Serverless backend services across a distributed Lambda and PostgreSQL environment • Agentic AI financial planning layer: architecture, reliability, and LLM integration patterns • CI/CD pipeline standardization across 28+ repositories, co-owned with the existing tech lead • Code quality, observability, security hygiene, and release discipline across the stack

Job Requirements

  • 10 to 15 years of full-stack engineering at production quality
  • Expert Python (FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, async patterns); strong TypeScript and React
  • Deep AWS serverless experience: Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, CDK, Cognito
  • Background in wealthtech, fintech, or regulated financial services is required
  • Experience defining and standardizing CI/CD pipelines across multiple repositories
  • SOC 2 Type II or equivalent compliance-adjacent experience
  • Familiarity with LangGraph, LangChain, or agentic AI frameworks is a strong plus
  • Strong async written communication; comfortable leading across a globally distributed offshore team
