Senior Digital PR Manager

• Develop and implement comprehensive Digital PR strategies to increase brand visibility, build links, and enhance our clients online reputation • Identify relevant media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and influencers to pitch our stories and secure media coverage • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, media contacts, and industry influencers to secure ongoing coverage and partnerships • Analyze Digital PR performance metrics and prepare monthly reports to track the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure the successful execution of Digital PR initiatives • Review our client’s websites to find creative angles to pitch • Build and maintain relationships with journalists • Maintain a database of sites and journalists to target • Develop content ideas and ensure content is delivered on time • Create compelling press releases, pitches and other Digital PR materials to effectively communicate key messages and campaigns.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Digital PR
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful Digital PR campaigns
  • Strong network of media contacts and industry influencers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and media contacts
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting Digital PR performance metrics
  • Experience managing budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including pitching/PR (creating a buzz around content you are looking to promote), coming up with creative ideas and writing press releases and blog posts

Focus Areas: Strategic Narrative & Execution - Integrated Campaign Leadership: Develop and execute high-impact PR strategies that align with North American business goals and ensure coverage pulls through SUSE’s key messages and increases its AI visibility score. - Category Creation: Use PR as a vehicle for category differentiation, establishing the company as a thought leader in emerging tech spaces through original research, byline articles, and podcast placements. - Event & Program Management: Create and manage media programs at events like SUSECON, KubeCon North America and AWS re:Invent. Monitor and report results to adjust PR strategies accordingly and maintain effective feedback loops with stakeholders. Media & Relationship Management - Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain a Tier-1 network of traditional journalists, high-authority bloggers, and B2B influencers to secure high-value placements and "backlink-rich" earned media.
