Independent Sales Contractor

PortaPro Software

PortaPro is software built specifically for portable toilet companies and site service operators. Most tools out there weren’t made for this industry. They’re built for plumbers, HVAC, or generic field service businesses, which means operators end up forcing their workflow into something that doesn’t really fit. PortaPro is different. It’s built around how this industry actually runs. It brings everything into one system: scheduling, routing, inventory, customers, billing, service history, and more. No paper, no spreadsheets, and no juggling five or ten different tools. It also includes things most operators don’t expect to have built in: marketing tools, e-signatures, and customer portals that make their business look more professional and easier to work with. The goal is simple: make day-to-day operations easier, help teams stay organized, and give operators a system they actually want to use.

Role Description We’re looking for independent sales reps who can connect with portable toilet companies and site service operators, understand how they run today, and show them a system that actually fits how their business works. This is a 1099 contractor role. You manage your own pipeline. We’ll support where it makes sense. - Prospect and reach out to portable toilet companies and service operators through your own outreach and network. - Work inbound leads as they come in and run them like a true consultant, not a script. - Talk directly with owners and decision makers about how they currently run scheduling, routing, and operations. - Run simple, straightforward demos focused on how PortaPro makes their day-to-day easier. - Keep everything organized inside Salesforce so pipeline, notes, and follow-ups are always clear. - Manage your deals from first conversation through close, including follow-ups and next steps. - Avoid feature dumping. Focus on the real problems and how the product fixes them. - Share feedback from conversations so we can keep improving positioning and product direction. Qualifications - Experience selling software. Not just physical products. - Comfortable selling into contractors, or blue-collar industries. - Able to run a consultative sale instead of reading off features. - Comfortable picking up the phone and starting conversations. - Organized enough to manage your own pipeline inside a CRM. - Able to talk to business owners in a normal, direct way. - Comfortable working as a 1099 contractor. - Bonus if you’ve worked with field service, sanitation, construction, or logistics-related software. Benefits - Flexible schedule. You control your time and pipeline. - Commission-based earnings with no cap. - A product that actually solves real problems for operators and is easy to sell once they see it. - Straightforward communication. No layers, no corporate process. - Early opportunity to grow with the company as more customers come on.
