Position Summary Avolve is seeking a Senior Accountant to support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure a timely month‑end close. This role requires strong accounting expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to partner closely with the Controller to refine and scale back‑office processes. As a key contributor within the accounting team, you’ll collaborate across functions, support process improvement efforts, and contribute to accurate financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities The following list outlines key responsibilities and day-to-day activities associated with this role. Responsibilities may evolve over time based on team needs, individual strengths, and organizational priorities. - Own the month‑end close cycle, including transaction categorization, reconciliations, schedule maintenance, and preparation of financial statements. - Maintain accounting schedules, prepare journal entries, and perform reconciliations to ensure accurate financials. - Lead AP processing, vendor management, cash reconciliations, and prepaid schedules. - Liaise with the Controller on accounting processes, workflows, automation, and related projects. - Assist with payroll preparation and payroll tax compliance matters. - Support development and enforcement of back‑office systems, policies, and procedures. - Prepare ad‑hoc financial analyses related to financial statements and business needs. - Ensure accuracy, thoroughness, and high attention to detail in all accounting activities. We value diverse perspectives and are committed to building a team that reflects a variety of backgrounds and strengths. - Bachelor's degree in accounting (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience). - 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably within SaaS. - Strong knowledge of GAAP - Experience with Xero Online, Sage, Bill.com, Expensify, Rippling/TriNet, and Ramp/Divvy (or similar systems). - Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, index/match, SUMIF, etc.). - Ability to manage multiple workstreams, adapt to change, and maintain strong organizational habits. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong collaboration skills to work across cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications - Audit experience and/or CPA candidacy. - Proven experience leading a month‑end close process. - Process improvement and automation experience. - Big data experience. - Familiarity with Rillet (AI Native ERP) – not required. Role Description This is an exciting opportunity to join Isar Aerospace in a key role. You will work closely with the finance team in headquarters and yet have an independent role in this exciting new space business. Isar Norway and Isar Sweden will gradually insource more of our accounting activities under your oversight. Role Description We are seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant (CPA) to support full-cycle accounting with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable and revenue operations within a high-growth CPG environment.
