Account Manager Duties and Responsibilities • Calling current customer base to engage on different products than currently owned • Understanding client needs, workflows, and challenges • Maintaining Salesforce with real time information • Presenting and delivering information to customers • Answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions • Understanding ratios relating to call connect, connect to opportunity and call to deal • Building pipelines with customers and team members to close sales • Closing sales and working with client through closing process • Client relationship building • Internal collaboration with Marketing, Product, and Sales Leaders • Negotiating contract and SOW terms and renewal agreements with clients Account Manager Requirements and Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science, Business/Management, Accounting, Agricultural Sciences discipline, or equivalent experience. Degree is not a requirement. • Agribusiness sales technology background preferred • Comfortable making cold calls and talking to new people all day • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers • Persuasive and goal-oriented • Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor • Eager to expand company product footprint within accounts • Self-motivated and self-directed • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently • In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the industry • Tenacity to handle rejection and continue on with a positive attitude when reaching next potential client • Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team • Previous experience in account management, inside sales experience, or related sales experience preferred • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and Salesforce experience preferred *This is a remote opportunity; can work anywhere in the US* Note: The information contained herein is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and qualifications required of individuals performing the job.
