Regional Finance Director

• Cultivate and solicit major gifts from individuals in the region • Develop new relationships and build a robust prospect pool, as well as retain and upgrade existing donors • Use a variety of solicitation tools, including events, meetings, calls, and online communication • Maintain strong internal relationships with various staff members in the national office • Play a leadership role in planning the annual regional conference and Luncheon • Plan regular development and fundraising trips for senior staff as needed • Work closely with the regional fundraising team to reach annual and cycle fundraising goals • Travel is expected up to 40% - 50% of the time including trips to Washington, DC • Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Minimum of five years of fundraising experience
- Direct major donor solicitation, including prospecting and upgrading
- Proven track record securing major gifts
- Innovative self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and fundraising databases, ideally Raiser’s Edge
- Campaign and/or political experience helpful but not required
- Commitment and passion to elect Democratic pro-choice women
- Commitment to the diversity of candidates, membership, partners, and staff
