For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $98,440 - $147,600 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We're looking for a talented individual who can transform complex technical challenges into successful project deliverables. What will you do? The Project Manager is responsible for achieving the project’s objectives. They work closely with the Commercial Manager, Program Manager, Site Technical Manager and Engineering Lead to define the project objectives, create a plan, and execute the plan to achieve those objectives. The Project Manager has a working knowledge of the technical and organizational environments in which the project deliverables are created and will be used. They may also assist in the strategic planning for the department. The Project Manager must have strong communication skills, verbal and written at all levels within the project environment, be proactive, exhibit strong leadership qualities, and be adaptable to a dynamic and geographically disbursed project environment. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for meeting the scope, schedule, and budget commitments reflected in the Project Management Plan. - Lead the Project Team in developing and managing the Project Management Plan within the constraints established and approved by the Project Sponsor. - Implement and enforce change control over project scope, schedule, resources, and budget. - Collaborate with resource managers and/or organizational management to obtain adequate resources with appropriate skills to staff the project team. - Manages resources by planning, scheduling, and forecasting manpower and resource requirements - Manages subcontractors to deliver high quality deliverables and installation on schedule - Manage the timely resolution of issues, including the escalation of issues that are outside of the project team’s scope of responsibility. - Continually identify and proactively manage project risks & opportunities, ensure execution of corrective action plans up to closure. - Coordinate and direct project closure to customer - Prepares and delivers final project closure and documentation to customers and ensures final payment - Management of and responsibility for project change order / Issue logs - Monitor the project and report the project status to leadership on a regular basis. - Review and approve all team project submittals. How You’ll Make an Impact Dudek is seeking a project manager to manage and coordinate the siting review and compliance monitoring activities of energy facilities under the Washington, Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council's (EFSEC) jurisdiction and Oregon, Energy Facility Site Council's (EFSC). The individual will be self-driven with a proven track record implementing all phases of the energy development process and be familiar with National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Washington State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) processes, and Oregon environmental policies. The candidate will have experience with serving as a representative of EFSEC & EFSC's business, siting, and compliance, interests related to energy facilities under EFSEC & EFSC's jurisdiction. Candidates that have technical expertise in managing large complex projects to meet project milestones within schedule and budget expectations is essential. The candidate will have a demonstrated track record with overseeing multidisciplinary staff and ability to work directly with clients and regulatory staff. This position will be associated with our Portland office but can be fully remote. Duties and Responsibilities - Manage EFSEC & EFSC's compliance monitoring of major energy facilities involving state, federal, and local governments and the public. - Coordinate the siting review process for energy facilities adhering to state and federal laws, rules, and guidelines. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, legal, environmental, and regulatory specialists to ensure alignment with project objectives and EFSEC requirements. - Maintain strong and consistent communication in reporting to regulatory staff on siting, compliance, and other issues requiring action to address matters of concern. - Work with the client and project stakeholders to ensure a clear and open siting review process. - Develop budgets and contracts required for projects. - Report EFSEC & EFSC's findings related to siting and compliance issues and make recommendations for EFSEC & EFSC's findings or actions. - Develop schedules and lead field visits, project orientations, and hearings; act on regulatory staff and client directives to arrange meetings and public hearings on siting, compliance, and other activities under EFSEC & EFSC's jurisdiction. - Develop and recommend strategies to address siting and compliance related issues, including strategies to collaborate with the public, cities, counties, and EFSEC & EFSC's staff at state and federal agencies. - Track and manage flow of information between organizations. - Promote a culture of teamwork, engagement, quality service, and customer satisfaction to our clients Minimum Qualifications - 10+ years experience with EFSEC & EFSC's processes - Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, or other related field. - In-depth knowledge of EFSEC & EFSC's regulations, permitting processes, and relevant state and federal environmental laws - Must possess a valid driver’s license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by first day of employment - Must possess a valid driver’s license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by the first day of employment Preferred Qualifications - Advanced degree in environmental science, planning, public policy, or a related field, or equivalent experience in energy facility siting and regulatory compliance.
