We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mid-Level SharePoint Specialist to help manage and maintain SPA’s employee intranet (Nexus) and related modern SharePoint online sites and support internal communications efforts across the enterprise. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in SharePoint to design, implement, and manage solutions that enhance collaboration and productivity across our organization. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SharePoint applications and workflows. Requirements include maintaining and improving usability, applying consistent and on-brand design, and supporting users with a variety of skill levels. This position requires 5 or more years of experience and a blend of administrative, design, and front-end development skills. This role will also support other Marketing and Communications functions across the company. Responsibilities - Site Management & Design: - Design and develop SharePoint sites and construct workflows to meet business needs. - Administer, configure, and maintain SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and content, ensuring consistent look, feel, and functionality across the environment. - Manage and revise site layouts, implement branding, and design landing pages using modern SharePoint web parts. - Perform graphic design-related tasks needed to support SharePoint page development, including image editing, graphics creation, and video editing. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide SharePoint solutions that align with organizational goals. - Stay current with SharePoint updates and enhancements, evaluating their potential impact on existing solutions. - User & Access Management: - Manage user access, permissions, and security groups to safeguard sensitive information while enabling appropriate collaboration. - Provide prompt technical support and troubleshooting for end-users for front-end related issues or malfunctions. - Collaboration & Workflow Support: - Integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 tools, such as Teams, OneDrive, Power Automate, and Power Apps, to automate business processes. - Build and modify workflows and forms using tools like MS Forms, Power Apps, and Power Automate to streamline operations. - Collect, Report, and Track Metrics: - Collect and record data on site usage, page visits, and other available SharePoint usage statistics. - Organize data into meaningful reports for leadership. - Analyze trends and suggest improvements. Qualifications Required Skills, Education & Experience: - Education: A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Experience: 5+ years of experience as a modern SharePoint Online Specialist/front-end developer, preferably in a Microsoft GCC High environment. - Technical Knowledge: - Expertise in SharePoint site design, development, permissions management, and administration. - Proficient in utilizing SharePoint features such as lists, libraries, pages, and workflows. - Understanding of modern page design and strong skills in web part utilization and page management. - Proficiency in Power Automate for workflow automation; knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps and Power BI is a plus. Desired Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Creative mindset and excellent design sense. - Strong writing and editing skills including knowledge of Chicago Manual of Style standards.
