Job Summary and Responsibilities This is a remote position. The System Manager provides strategic oversight of Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) activities across CommonSpirit to include but not be limited to interfaces, middleware, point of care connections, and optimization of LIS functionality for maximum lab efficiencies and with a focus on standardization and reduction in variability. Collaborates with the other members of the System Lab Service Line to deliver the system's laboratory services strategy. Participates in System Laboratory Design Approval Groups (LDGA), facilitate ad hoc and ongoing Laboratory Transformation Council Workgroups as related to LIS functions and train and support LIS efforts. - Provide LIS leadership for system-wide and regional standardization projects, assuring timely completion of projects and within budget. - Manages LIS operations, functions, projects, and initiatives. - Leads the coordination of LIS activities to ensure alignment with the system laboratory strategy. - Provides LIS guidance, support, and training to departmental directors and LIS Coordinators. - Facilitates assigned national workgroups and ensures that they adhere to established goals and objectives. - Provides subject matter expertise to national councils and workgroups. #LI-CSH Job Requirements Required Education and Experience - Bachelors in Laboratory Science or Information Technology - Minimum 5-10 year’s related experience in clinical laboratory science operations and/or information systems

The individual is responsible for technical systems management of Identity Management based servers, applications, and services, in their entirety. This position will implement, configure, administer, tune, troubleshoot and patch various components of the Identity Management and Access Management environment, both on premise and in cloud offerings. This role will own the authentication and account lifecycle process for the university. Ideal candidates will provide expertise in Identity and Access Management and the different components that relate along with participation in roadmap creation for the identity system. They will have some working knowledge of databases, SQL queries and structure. Ideal candidates will be comfortable administering Access Management systems and account lifecycle management systems, whether on-prem or SaaS offerings. They will have working experience with Oracle Middleware and have had exposure to cloud technologies in AWS, Azure, or Google.
