Role Description Direct enterprise-wide data center transition and deployment operations, providing strategic leadership for data center transitions and deployments while driving organizational capabilities and operational transformation across multiple markets and regions. Key Responsibilities - Strategic Program Leadership: - Develop and execute comprehensive data center transition and deployment strategies aligned with business growth objectives and market expansion plans. - Oversee portfolio-wide deployment programs including greenfield, brownfield and existing facility transition while ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and financial targets. - Organizational Development and Management: - Lead multiple transition and deployment teams across geographic regions, managing directors, project managers, and specialized technical resources. - Build organizational capabilities through collaboration with others while establishing performance standards and accountability frameworks for complex infrastructure programs. - Client and Stakeholder Relations: - Serve as executive sponsor for enterprise client transitions and strategic deployment initiatives. - Interface with client leadership teams and key stakeholders to ensure program success while managing expectations, resolving escalated issues, and maintaining strategic relationships throughout complex transition processes. - Risk and Governance Framework: - Establish enterprise-level risk management frameworks and governance structures for transition and deployment activities. - Implement quality assurance programs, compliance monitoring, and audit processes while ensuring adherence to industry regulations, security standards, and corporate policies across all deployment operations. - Innovation and Process Excellence: - Drive innovation in deployment methodologies, automation technologies, and operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and improve client experience. - Champion digital transformation initiatives including IoT integration, predictive analytics, and automated deployment tools while establishing industry best practices and competitive differentiation. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. - 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in data center operations, infrastructure deployment, or large-scale technology transformation with demonstrated success managing large, complex deployments. - Experience leading organizational change management, building high-performance teams, and driving operational excellence in mission-critical environments with complex stakeholder ecosystems. - Deep knowledge of data center technologies, deployment methodologies, and industry trends including edge computing, sustainability initiatives, and regulatory requirements. - Established network of industry relationships and thought leadership experience through speaking engagements, publications, or professional associations.
