Role Description Certified Support Staff focuses on promoting student success by responding to identified needs through implementation of comprehensive programs and services that help guide all learners in their academic success, personal and social development, and career and college planning and readiness. The Elementary School Coach supports student retention by providing non-instructional intervention and support to students in grades K-5. This individual is responsible for: - Working with students and parents to identify online learning strengths and areas for improvement. - Providing excellent customer service. - Ensuring student improvement through intervention strategies. - Monitoring, tracking, and addressing the needs of the students specifically about online learning success factors. - Building and maintaining relationships with students and parents. The duties of the Academic Success Coach are fulfilled remotely. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree. - 0-1 year of related professional experience. - Missouri Elementary Teaching Certification preferred OR appropriate Elementary certification in another state with the ability to obtain MO licensure within 60 days of employment. - Must reside in Missouri. Requirements - Associate degree AND 2 or more years customer service experience. - Experience working with children or youth. - Demonstrated proficiency in using online tools and applications. - Professional verbal and writing skills. - Comfortable with online and telephone communication with customers. - Ability to pass required background check.
