As a Contract Sourcer on our Talent Discovery team, you will be the pipeline generation engine supporting MongoDB’s most critical positions as they arise across the company, supporting both U.S. and Europe-based roles. Individuals in this function will identify, engage and screen top talent for technical roles, with the potential to expand to support other business units as demand fluctuates. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who embrace change, thrive in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment, and are excited to advance their career in technical recruiting. This is a contracted opportunity for a period of six months. Given the global nature of this role, individuals must be based on the East Coast or open to working East Coast hours. To ensure sufficient overlap with our European team, this role requires a working schedule of 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM ET, which includes a one-hour lunch break. In this role, you will - Support critical technical roles for MongoDB across Europe and North America through strategic passive talent sourcing. Individuals will be expected to quickly pivot to support new areas of MongoDB’s business as hiring needs arise, and show flexibility to take on non-technical positions if needed. - Work closely with recruiters to understand business needs and deliver qualified talent accordingly, becoming an expert in the external market and a consultative talent advisor. - Screen candidates for nuanced roles, ensuring strong alignment to role requirements and maintaining exceptional documentation and data integrity as candidates are progressed within the hiring process. - Partner with coordinators, hiring managers and interviewers to deliver an exceptional candidate experience, maintaining a high-touch and personalized process for all candidates. The right person for this role will - Possess a proven track-record within technical recruiting, maintaining deep expertise in passive candidate sourcing specifically. - Maintain creative and out-of-the-box sourcing techniques to tap into new pools of talent, while uncovering new tactics through research and knowledge-sharing with peers. - Have an analytical mindset, with the ability to conduct autonomous research and utilize data to inform strategy and influence stakeholders. - Exhibit exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with previous experience in high-volume business environments. A proven ability to juggle multiple competing priorities simultaneously while navigating ambuiguity is required for role success. - Maintain exceptional written and verbal communication. - Proficiency working in Greenhouse and Gem is preferred, but not required.
