• Serve as the district’s primary technical liaison and trusted advisor for all deployed Raptor solutions. • Build strong relationships with school and district stakeholders to ensure successful system adoption and performance. • Provide consultation and guidance on best practices, system usage, and operational optimization. • Deliver Level 2 technical support for hardware, software, and integrated systems deployed in customer environments. • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to devices, networks, and system integrations. • Coordinate with internal engineering and support teams when advanced troubleshooting is required. • Conduct onsite service visits to perform system diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance. • Perform preventative maintenance and system health checks to ensure reliable system performance. • Support product installations, upgrades, and configuration updates across customer locations. • Provide onsite and remote training sessions for school and district staff. • Help customers understand system functionality, troubleshooting steps, and operational best practices. • Support adoption of new features and product capabilities. • Document service activities, troubleshooting processes, and resolutions within internal systems. • Maintain inventory of service tools, replacement parts, and equipment. • Ensure all service activities align with company service standards and customer expectations.

The Access Network Engineer is responsible for the architecture, deployment, and operational support of the organization’s fiber access network. This role focuses on GPON and XGS-PON broadband platforms, including OLT systems, ONT lifecycle management, and integration with aggregation, IP routing, and subscriber management platforms.

• Provide enterprise-level network architecture, design, and engineering support for government IT environments • Assess current and future network architectures, documenting system interdependencies • Design scalable and secure infrastructures, ensuring alignment with mission and business objectives • Serve as the technical authority for network modernization, resilience, availability, and performance • Support enterprise architecture frameworks, roadmaps, and compliance requirements • Lead enterprise network architecture planning, design, and sustainment activities • Perform quarterly architecture assessments and discovery of network, system, and application relationships • Analyze network dependencies and proactively identify risks to availability, performance, and security • Develop and maintain layered network architecture documentation including: Conceptual diagrams, Logical network designs, Physical topology diagrams, Data and traffic flow maps • Design secure and scalable network infrastructures supporting on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments • Architect WAN, LAN, MAN, and enclave-based networks across multiple security domains • Support network segmentation, zero-trust architectures, and boundary protection strategies • Design and maintain high-availability, failover, and disaster recovery network architectures • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide strategic recommendations • Support change management, engineering reviews, and technical governance boards • Collaborate with application, systems, cybersecurity, and operations teams • Provide technical input to modernization initiatives and technology roadmaps • Maintain documentation in alignment with PWS, RMF, and audit requirements • Support incident analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective action planning • Present architecture findings and recommendations to government stakeholders • Perform other duties as appropriate and as assigned.

• Manage the network infrastructure that provides core network connectivity in Portugal, including primary POP sites, transit interconnection, peering, and fiber backhaul services for multiple data centers (DCs). • Ensure all services are available 100% of the time by maintaining a resilient network configuration and rapidly troubleshooting outages, incidents, and health issues. • Collaborate with Development and Support teams to troubleshoot issues, identify improvements, and build tools to accelerate problem resolution. • Support and maintain network infrastructure, including equipment from Juniper, Arista, or other vendors. • Maintain, operate, and configure DWDM systems. • Monitor hardware health, resolve faults, and plan equipment upgrades and EOL/EOS lifecycle activities.
