Role Description Working under IT Service Level Leadership, the IT Service Level Analyst drives efforts with multiple IT Enterprise teams to support business-focused objectives directly tied to IT business strategy. A collaborative partner delivering innovative ideas, processes, and services to streamline IT vendor operational processes, rooted in service level excellence, to propel IT maturity. The IT Service Level Analyst is responsible for collaboratively identifying Service Level opportunities, validating reported Service Level data, and developing guidelines, standards, and processes to optimize costs and spending. The IT Service Level Analyst will perform cost modeling exercises, financial analysis, and service level adherence reporting of IT Partners’ overall performance based on contractual services provided to Builders FirstSource. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Creates & stewards comprehensive reports of historic, current, and forecasted financially impactful service level analytics. - Actively monitors, evaluates, and provides information to IT leadership on operational efficiency of IT Infrastructure partnerships. - Acts as Point of Escalation for prioritized incidents and service requests for internal and vendor support teams. - Creates and deploys information shares for IT teams and leaders. - Collaborates on processes and governance documentation synthesis to drive cost efficiency while overcoming operational and project challenges faced by the business. - Audits tickets and reports for discrepancies, to ensure that contracted Service Levels are being met. - Compile, organize, and formalize data to produce a snapshot of the holistic health of the IT Managed partners weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually. - Communicate process and procedure updates and/or alterations to multiple teams. - Track and analyze Service Level operations data output. Report on environmental health such as server availability, virtualization, SOX compliance, backups, storage, and any other contractually measured data center components provided by the Managed Servicers to improve accuracy across the Organizations. - Review, audit and disseminate IT vendor Account Operations Manuals and Service Level Documentation to IT Leadership and Engineering teams. - Keep detailed logs of interactions, tickets, and in-flight projects, and meeting minutes to provide feedback to leadership on the relevance of procedure. Formalize and provide notes to the Manager. - Plans and facilitates work priorities based on business needs and operates in a team atmosphere to meet daily, weekly, project, or team related productivity goals. - Actively evaluates assigned IT Partnership health, derived from Service Levels, and works with leadership to build future state governance and analytics in plate that align with long-term organizational IT strategy, OKRs (Objectives and Key Results), and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Degree or certification in business management, Finops, Lean Six Sigma, IT Logistics, or related field. - Two (2) years IT analyst, IT partner, IT operations, or related experience. - Or equivalent combination of education and experience. Competencies - Knowledge of IT services, business process and/or analytics, and financial operations. - Proficient functions of devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, VOIP phones and servers. - Knowledge of fundamental processes procurement and adoption. - Knowledge and understanding of IT MSP pricing schemes. - High-level IT fundamental understanding. - Excellent planning, documenting, and organizational skills. - Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint. - Proficiency in IT governance adoption. - Proficiency in Service Level and/or contracted service analytics. - Proficiency in vendor escalation processes. - Ability to work independently with strong attention to details and accuracy. - Proficiency of copper and fiber transport medias and their associated standards. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. - Experience with cost optimization practices. - Present business reviews to management team regarding process and roadblocks on IT Cloud topics.
