Role Description The BSS Systems Engineer is responsible for configuring, integrating, and maintaining core Business Support Systems that support service delivery and billing operations. This role focuses on platform reliability, API integrations, and workflow automation across systems such as Salesforce, Netcracker, and provisioning APIs. - Design, configure, and maintain BSS platforms including CRM, billing, product catalog, provisioning, service activation, inventory systems, and workflow tools. - Integrate internal systems and third-party applications using APIs, webhooks, middleware, and scripts. - Automate service provisioning, activation, and billing workflows for broadband, VoIP, and IPTV services. - Ensure data integrity and synchronization between CRM, NMS, and billing platforms. - Troubleshoot system-level issues and ensure timely resolution. - Collaborate with Sr Business Process Manager, Finance, Network Engineering, Network Operations, and Customer Experience and Marketing teams to define and implement business workflows. - Participate in vendor evaluations and implementations of BSS tools. - Participate in system architecture design, release planning, and performance optimization efforts. - Create and maintain system documentation, workflows, data models, and change logs. - Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), change control, and system upgrades. - Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution with vendors as needed. - Support reporting and analytics by exposing key system data to BI tools or warehouses. - Contribute to cybersecurity compliance and access control settings. - Other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience. - 5+ years of experience with BSS/OSS platforms in a telecom or ISP environment. - Strong knowledge of provisioning systems (e.g., Symphonic, Alianza, Calix CMS). - Hands-on experience with platforms such as Salesforce, Netcracker, Domo, or similar. - Experience with IP networking fundamentals and services (DHCP, RADIUS, DNS). - Intermediate to expert level experience with scripting (Python, Bash, SQL, REST APIs). - Strong understanding of data flows and ETL. - Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills. - Effective cross-functional communication skills. - Ability to work across multiple departments and manage competing priorities. Requirements - Experience with network management systems and monitoring tools. - Working knowledge of OSS systems and their interaction with BSS. - Knowledge of network topology and service design (PON, DOCSIS). - Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker). - Familiarity with TM Forum frameworks (eTOM, SID, Open APIs). • Develop scripts and automation workflows (e.g., using Python, PowerShell, or Bash) to automate routine IT tasks such as user onboarding/offboarding, software deployment, and system patching. • Implement and manage integrations between corporate systems and tools • Author internal guides covering process improvements, reliability patterns, and best practices. • Design, build, and maintain our internal IT infrastructure using tools like Terraform or Ansible. This includes managing cloud resources (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization platforms, and on-premises hardware. • Manage and automate our identity provider (e.g., Okta,) and its integrations with various SaaS applications (like Slack, Google Workspace, etc) to ensure secure and efficient access control. • Act as a key technical resource for the IT helpdesk and other teams, troubleshooting complex issues and providing solutions that prevent future occurrences. Champion best practices within the IT organization. • Work alongside the security team to implement and enforce security policies, manage vulnerabilities, and ensure our internal systems comply with industry standards.

• Configure, customize, and maintain Zuora Billing, including product catalog, rate plans, subscriptions, invoicing, taxation, payments, and related workflows. • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, RevOps, and Engineering to support and optimize the SaaS subscription and order-to-revenue lifecycle. • Support end-to-end order-to-revenue processes by troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing sustainable solutions. • Build and maintain Zuora workflows, notifications, custom fields, data mappings, and Salesforce integrations, including data migration activities. • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure system changes follow best practices, compliance standards, and internal governance requirements.
