The Tech Ops team at Affirm sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and scale. We partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Infrastructure leaders to translate complex technical initiatives into clear, executable programs that drive reliability, velocity, and long-term platform health. Our focus is on enabling teams to deliver high-impact outcomes by bringing structure to ambiguity, aligning cross-functional priorities, and ensuring our technology scales safely and efficiently as the business grows. We're looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Technical Programs to oversee a team of Technical Program Managers and drive the successful execution of strategic programs in partnership with leaders in our Technology organization. As our products scale to meet our accelerating business and expanding product lines, you will bring expertise in technical program management to help us deliver on great Affirm products. You will also actively develop and grow our key TPM talent as well as evolve the team to set it up for success as it faces new challenges. What You’ll Do: - Lead and inspire a distributed team of Technical Program Managers (TPM) working across several parts of the business, with a goal of driving alignment amongst key stakeholders. - Work closely with our leads and partners in Product, Engineering, Design, Infrastructure, Operations and Analytics to map out strategies and roadmaps, and ensure alignment with company wide goals. - Develop the OKRs, priorities and operational models and work alongside our team to reach them. Ensure high-quality program management and ongoing technical skill development for the team. - Establish and execute robust prioritization of programs across the Product and Engineering plans. - Drive employee engagement and a high-performance culture within the team, ensuring effective performance management, coaching, career development of the team and creating an environment where people can excel through accountability, encouragement, and empowerment. - Partner with Product and Engineering to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. - Understand technical implementation at the architecture level and propose technical alternatives, ask questions that clarify priorities and push the team to be effective, and develop domain and technical knowledge. - Proactively identify and drive resolution of dependencies, evaluate risks, and communicate status to upper management and program stakeholders. What We Look For: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience - 3-5 years of experience managing technical program management teams - 7+ years of experience program managing technical implementations - Passion and drive to change consumer finance for the better - Committed to building inclusive teams and team culture, with outstanding business judgment, and excellent project management, problem solving, and analysis skills - Organized and strategic approach to collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams - Track record of successfully launching software products by driving complex large technology applications and geographically distributed backend systems. - Clear and compelling written and verbal communication - Obsesses over getting the details right but knows how to ship on time - Prior experience in FinTech, Payments or Commerce is a plus. Pay Grade - P Equity Grade - 12 Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills. Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents.) Overview The Payment Recovery and Collections Manager is responsible for leading RealPage’s collection and loss recovery operations within the Payment Operations organization. This role will support secure and compliant recovery efforts across RealPage’s payment products, overseeing strategy and execution in ACH returns, failed payment recovery, chargebacks, and future credit/collections programs. This leader ensures that financial loss is minimized while maintaining strong customer and regulatory outcomes. They will lead a high-performing team of onshore Process Leads while maintaining accountability for the performance and accuracy of an offshore team.
