The Paid Social Director is a full-time position on the Media Activation team, responsible for managing end-to-end paid social campaigns for both brand-direct and agency clients. This role requires a high level of expertise across the social ecosystem, with a primary focus on large-scale campaigns across Meta and TikTok, as well as exposure to Snapchat, LinkedIn, Reddit, and Pinterest. Responsibilities encompass overseeing all aspects of campaign setup, optimization, and analysis, beginning with serving as a strategic partner and primary point of contact for our clients. We need an expert who thrives in client-facing situations, someone who can identify what clients need and guide them in the right direction to best support their business goals. The role requires a combination of hands-on ad management and delegation of core duties to internal operations teams. You will be given the autonomy to make operational decisions based on your knowledge of the paid social advertising space and will be expected to proactively manage expectations to ensure we are a true partner, not just an activation team. Depending on your location, this role could be hybrid (NYC, Nashville, LA, San Francisco, Miami) or remote. RESPONSIBILITIES - Strategic Client Partnership: Serve as the primary strategic lead, moving beyond execution to act as a partner that drives the client's business forward with proactive ideas and growth strategies. - Client Relationship Management: Lead all aspects of client communication and campaign onboarding, ensuring expectations are met and proactively identifying ways to support the client's business needs. - Strategic Insights & Reporting: Deliver performance updates on a cadence aligned with client requirements. These updates should go beyond basic metrics to provide meaningful insights that guide broader business decisions. - Platform Performance: Drive results for large-scale campaigns primarily on Meta and TikTok, with additional management of LinkedIn, Snapchat, and other social channels as required by the client. - Team Oversight & Execution: Coordinate with internal operations teams to prioritize tasks and maintain a high standard of execution accuracy across all accounts. - Data Strategy: Use the Zeta Data Cloud to identify and implement sophisticated audience targeting strategies to improve campaign performance. REQUIREMENTS - 5+ years of hands-on experience in Paid Social advertising. - Meta Expertise: Advanced, expert-level knowledge of Meta Ads Manager is required. - Client-Facing Excellence: A proven track record of managing high-touch client relationships and thriving in a consultative, partner-based role. - Strategic Ability: Demonstrated success in translating complex business goals into actionable social media strategies and "great ideas" that drive growth. - Platform Knowledge: Strong experience with TikTok is highly preferred. Familiarity with LinkedIn, Snapchat, Reddit, or Pinterest is a plus. - Technical Proficiency: A deep understanding of media mechanics, including KPI optimization, audience targeting, pixel/technical implementations (CAPI), and budget management. - Attention to Detail: Meticulous quantitative skills and a high bar for quality and accuracy in campaign execution. - Education: BA/BS degree, including quantitative coursework (exceptions made for highly experienced candidates). BENEFITS & PERKS - Unlimited PTO - Excellent medical, dental, and vision coverage - Employee Equity - Employee Discounts, Virtual Wellness Classes, and Pet Insurance And more!! SALARY RANGE The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $140,000, depending on location and experience.
