Sales Development Representative

Cira Apps Canada

• Become an expert with lead generation tools to build targeted prospect lists. • Proactively prospect freemium accounts with relevant, human touches. • Qualify prospects using targeted, relevant questions; nurture them and understand needs prior to an initial sales meeting. • Schedule discovery calls for our Customer Success Team and consistently meet/exceed monthly quotas for attended discovery calls. • Execute multi‑channel outreach (phone, email, social) using a sales development platform. • Counter top‑of‑funnel objections gracefully—demonstrating excellent interpersonal and technical skills. • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Account Executives to build and execute account communication plans. • Coordinate demos with Sales Engineering and log all activities in Salesforce. • Conduct thorough research and mine our existing database to build monthly call lists. • Close sales by educating prospects on our product value and guiding them through the buying process.

Job Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in a similar role with a strong track record (internships, projects, or early‑career wins count).
  • 0–1 years of telemarketing experience, preferably in IT Enterprise Software.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed team.
  • Strong, professional communication skills in English—written and verbal—with great listening skills.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics and the discipline to manage them.
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations (virtual and phone).
  • Drive, grit, team‑orientation—a strong desire to compete and win.
  • High integrity and perseverance—you follow through.
