• Lead the solution development phase of the sales cycle by participating in discovery sessions, workshops, and technical validations to align client needs with product capabilities. • Partner with Account Executives to execute consultative, value-based sales strategies that articulate clear business outcomes and ROI. • Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations, proof of concepts, and solution presentations that address executive, functional, and technical stakeholder priorities. • Translate client business requirements into scalable solution architectures by evaluating integration, security, and operational considerations. • Engage cross functional stakeholders to secure technical approval by addressing integration requirements, data flows, SSO, and security questionnaires. • Develop business cases and ROI analyses by leveraging client data, KPIs, and industry benchmarks to quantify value realization. • Advise prospective customers on business process transformation by applying expertise in digital banking, account opening, lending, or related workflows. • Collaborate with Product, Product Marketing, Implementation, and Account Management to ensure alignment between client expectations and solution delivery. • Manage multiple concurrent sales opportunities by prioritizing activities and maintaining clear communication with internal stakeholders. • Identify competitive positioning strategies by analyzing market dynamics and tailoring messaging to differentiate Alkami’s solutions. • Maintain accurate documentation of solution designs, discovery insights, and client requirements within CRM and shared systems. • Continuously enhance product and industry knowledge to strengthen credibility and effectiveness in client engagements. • Support knowledge sharing within the Sales Engineering team by contributing insights, tools, or best practices from active engagements.
Job Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in enterprise pre-sales, sales engineering, or comparable customer-facing roles within SaaS or financial technology environments
- Proven experience supporting enterprise SaaS or fintech sales cycles
- Strong understanding of banking processes such as account opening, lending, or digital banking workflows
- Ability to design and deliver compelling product demonstrations and executive presentations
- Experience collaborating with cross functional partners on integration and security discussions
- Proficiency in CRM platforms such as Salesforce and productivity tools such as Excel and Google Workspace
- Strong analytical skills with ability to develop ROI models and business cases
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence diverse stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
