The Enterprise Project/Program Management Lead Consultant is accountable for independently leading all aspects of multiple complex programs or projects with a high level of risk, organizational span, business complexity, team size, and interdependencies. Projects may be across multiple functional areas and are of strategic importance to the organization. Key Responsibilities - Engages appropriate stakeholders in risk identification and mitigation. - Represents projects/programs and their objectives in all governance and gating forums. - Customizes solutions for complex issues, typically involving enterprise-level considerations. - Motivates others to embrace project challenges and inspires them to achieve goals while constructively evaluating their performance. - Delivers clear, concise communication on complex projects and issues in a simplified style for any audience. - Achieves project results through leadership and influence rather than authority; leverages organizational dynamics and communication skills to drive outcomes. - Drives achievement of project/program success factors. - Leads project execution by providing direction and oversight throughout the lifecycle to ensure business requirements are met. - Directs strategic projects/programs of high complexity and impact. - Manages high-complexity projects independently, without the need for external support or direction. Work Location - This position is a remote home-based role. - Your home office does not need to be near an Allstate office, but it does need to be in the United States. - Some travel is expected for this position. Candidates should be comfortable with travel based on business needs. Preferred Experience - External Management Consulting, Strategic Business Development (SBD) and Finance experience a plus. - Demonstrated experience managing complex projects or programs, preferably within large organizations involving multiple departments or business units. - Insurance claims experience spanning multiple lines of business such as auto, property, and casualty, with a solid understanding of claims operations and industry best practices. - Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives that drive business value and improve operational performance.
