Market Development Manager

• Partner with Field Sales, Marketing, KAM, Contract Management, HEMA, HCC, and Legal to execute the business plan, fulfill the value proposition, and drive contracting strategies to exceed ASC sales objectives • Lead quarterly business reviews with ASC customers in collaboration with field sales teammates • Drive disciplined account planning to align field and inside sales teams on objectives, priorities, and timelines • Co-develop multi-platform strategic business plans that address customer needs, prioritize investments, and define clear execution plans • Identify, prioritize, and advance strategic accounts through the full sales cycle • Apply consultative selling and Challenger methodologies to uncover and close growth opportunities • Ensure strong communication and alignment across sales, FSOs, and internal partners on ASC opportunities and execution progress • Partner with KAM and contracting teams to deliver effective ASC pricing and contracting solutions • Lead contract negotiations with ASC customers • Build and maintain executive-level administrative and C-suite relationships within ASC organizations • Drive multi-platform contract adoption and targeted sales conversions • Grow MedTech Surgery market share to meet or exceed performance in major acute care centers (Class of Trade 3001) • Collaborate with ASC leadership and customer program teams to address near- and long-term strategic priorities • Identify opportunities to improve customer outcomes through cost optimization, clinical value, access, and operational efficiency • Provide market feedback to inform innovation and program development • Support professional education initiatives to ensure safe and effective product use in ASC settings • Navigate ambiguity and complexity to maintain focus and clarity in evolving ASC markets • Ensure compliance with JNJ MedTech ethical standards and promote a culture of integrity

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years of medical device sales experience; commercial leadership or market development experience preferred
  • Surgical product experience required; ASC experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success in value-based market development and strategic customer relationships
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience with ASC, GPO, and/or independent contracting
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel approximately 60%
