Role Description As a Quantity Surveyor at Solomons Europe, you'll be a trusted commercial advisor — delivering strategic insight, managing NEC4 contract and commercial matters, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to drive successful project outcomes. - Take a proactive, solutions‑focused approach. - Build strong relationships with delivery teams and stakeholders in the true NEC spirit of mutual trust and cooperation. - Manage day‑to‑day commercial activities. - Identify smarter ways of working and shape process improvements. - Ensure commercial and contractual risks are effectively managed. Qualifications - Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Engineering (HNC/HND considered). - Client-focused, commercially astute, and skilled in fostering collaboration and accountability. - Ideally, working towards professional membership (or wanting to start with support) with RICS, CIPS, or ICE preferred. - Experience of forecasting, Cost Value Reconciliation reporting, and financial reporting. - Developing knowledge of NEC4 contracts and contract strategies, or similar forms. - Effective communication, teamwork, and mentoring skills. - Ability to work collaboratively on-site with project teams to deliver success. Requirements - Full UK driving license and access to a car for business travel. This remote role requires 50–60% travel to office and warehouse locations across the U.S. and will support safety operations across 10 warehouse locations throughout Florida, Georgia, Texas, North Carolina, and Arizona.
