Outside Sales Representative

MoboTrex

• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories. • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through regular in-person visits, presentations, and product demonstrations. • Support Regional Sales Managers on joint sales calls, vendor presentations, and customer meetings to close contracts. • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and responses to RFPs and RFIs. • Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline updates using CRM tools. • Conduct field surveys and on-site troubleshooting to better understand customer challenges and generate future sales opportunities. • Deliver technical product training to external customers and internal staff to strengthen product knowledge and confidence. • Represent NexTech at trade shows, conferences, and industry association events as a company ambassador. • Collaborate with internal teams to support the successful execution of large or complex projects. • Identify new product opportunities and supplier partnerships aligned with company objectives. • Provide feedback from customers and field experience to guide product development and improvement.

Job Requirements

  • 5-7 years of outside sales or technical service experience in the traffic signal or ITS industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Technical Field, Marketing, Sales, Business or other related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Intelligent Traffic Systems, detection products, wireless communications, and emerging transportation technologies.
  • Proven track record of building customer relationships and generating new business.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; confident delivering product demonstrations and technical discussions.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently.
  • Willingness to travel throughout locally, regionally and occasionally elsewhere in the U.S.
