Solutions Engineer – Industrial Engineering, Operations Design

• Design scalable warehouse and fulfillment solutions in response to customer opportunities and RFPs • Develop workflows across receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping operations • Build labor models, space plans, and material handling strategies to support growth and efficiency • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, IT, Real Estate, HR, and Operations to develop comprehensive solutions • Support pricing strategy and scenario modeling to drive competitive and profitable proposals • Leverage data analytics and process engineering techniques to identify operational improvements and innovation opportunities • Participate in customer presentations and site visits to validate solution assumptions • Evaluate automation, emerging technologies, and process improvements to enhance solution performance • Contribute to continuous improvement of internal tools, processes, and solution design methodologies
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in industrial engineering, operations leadership, supply chain, or logistics design
- Experience working in dynamic environments such as startups, high-growth organizations, or multi-site operations
- Exposure to one or more environments: eCommerce, CPG, retail distribution, industrial manufacturing, or omnichannel fulfillment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable solutions
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving requirements while maintaining execution focus
- Ability to communicate complex operational concepts clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders
- Familiarity with warehouse design, process mapping, labor modeling, or facility layout tools (Strong Excel Skills/CAD/SketchUp preferred but not required)
