Role Description As an Associate Services Engineer, you will support the successful deployment and integration of SS8’s solutions at customer sites. Working closely with senior engineers, project managers, and customers, you will assist in installing, configuring, and testing high-availability systems across a range of environments, including telecom networks, data centers, and cloud platforms. This role will require occasional domestic and international travel (up to 25%). - Assist in the installation and configuration of SS8 lawful intelligence and analytics solutions. - Participate in system integrations involving telecom network elements (e.g., DPI, probes, mediation systems). - Support on-site and remote deployments, ensuring solutions meet customer and regulatory requirements. - Work with senior engineers to troubleshoot issues, escalate bugs, and verify fixes. - Run system health checks, perform acceptance testing, and generate implementation documentation. - Maintain accurate records of implementation progress and provide timely status updates. - Learn and understand protocols such as TCP/IP, SIP, GTP, HTTP, Diameter, and lawful intercept standards (e.g., ETSI, CALEA). - Collaborate with internal R&D and QA teams to ensure product readiness for deployment. - Comply with information security standards and customer confidentiality requirements. - Provide remote support to customer base. Qualifications - Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, routing, firewalls, VLANs). - Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and command-line usage. - Interest in cybersecurity, telecom infrastructure, or law enforcement technologies. - Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail. - Willingness to travel occasionally to customer locations (domestic and international). - Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a customer-facing technical role. - Proficiency in managing a structured workload via a customer ticket portal; must be able to categorize issues by priority (P1–P3), conduct thorough initial investigations to gather technical requirements, provide consistent customer updates, and drive issues to resolution within defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) timers. • Develop and maintain "Should Cost" analyses and technical estimations based on component specifications, technical drawings, and Bills of Material (BOM) • Identify and propose cost-saving opportunities and optimizations throughout the vehicle development lifecycle to meet cost targets • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Purchasing, and Vehicle Program teams, providing data-driven cost deltas to close gaps between cost targets and supplier quotes • Provide essential cost analysis and data to support negotiation activities during RFQs, change notes, and key vehicle milestones • Employ client-specific methodologies and cost databases to create and deliver comprehensive cost analysis reports and present findings to program teams • Support benchmarking activities and purchasing/engineering commodity strategies to ensure competitive material and tooling costs.

Role Description The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned: - Perform maintenance work in the stores, work with store management to implement new preventative maintenance programs. - Responsible for the maintenance and safe operation of company owned equipment used in conducting the day-to-day business of the department: i.e., tools, systems, vehicles, etc. - Receive work orders, prioritize work, and follow up on completed work. - Assure that emergency repairs are handled immediately to avoid property damage and personal injury to Weis Markets Inc. associates and customers. - Work with local contractors for all major repair projects & maintenance programs. - Assist with the coordination of procedures for rapid response and resolution of emergency building/systems failures to ensure the continued operation of the store with a minimum of disruption, loss of sales and spoilage of product. - Recommend appropriate capital improvement projects that need to be initiated to maintain efficient and effective building operations. (Via facilities checklist) - Assist in implementing minor capital projects. - Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs & procedures. - Conduct store visits to ensure all maintenance projects, programs, & procedures are being followed. - Educate store managers on the importance of planned maintenance to increase store profitability by reducing expenses. - Participate in on-site surveys of new and remodel projects. - Responsible for his/her assigned projects completion according to the company’s standards for criteria, time, cost, and quality. - Conducts regular field inspections on assigned projects, ensure work is performed in compliance with company standards and objectives, takes corrective action to ensure objectives are achieved. - Provides maintenance expertise to operations and other departments in response to questions in the area of maintenance and repairs. - Provides quick response and support where needed in emergency, disaster recovery, and/or compliance situations. - Provides ongoing evaluation of best practices & standards as well as new ideas, input and recommendations for criteria and process improvements. Qualifications - High school diploma or GED plus five (5) years' experience in maintenance of building systems and first-hand knowledge of the construction trades. - Requires computer skills, Microsoft Outlook, and Service Now Call Tracking system with basic operations of iPhone and iPad knowledge.
