Associate Services Engineer

Role Description As an Associate Services Engineer, you will support the successful deployment and integration of SS8’s solutions at customer sites. Working closely with senior engineers, project managers, and customers, you will assist in installing, configuring, and testing high-availability systems across a range of environments, including telecom networks, data centers, and cloud platforms. This role will require occasional domestic and international travel (up to 25%). - Assist in the installation and configuration of SS8 lawful intelligence and analytics solutions. - Participate in system integrations involving telecom network elements (e.g., DPI, probes, mediation systems). - Support on-site and remote deployments, ensuring solutions meet customer and regulatory requirements. - Work with senior engineers to troubleshoot issues, escalate bugs, and verify fixes. - Run system health checks, perform acceptance testing, and generate implementation documentation. - Maintain accurate records of implementation progress and provide timely status updates. - Learn and understand protocols such as TCP/IP, SIP, GTP, HTTP, Diameter, and lawful intercept standards (e.g., ETSI, CALEA). - Collaborate with internal R&D and QA teams to ensure product readiness for deployment. - Comply with information security standards and customer confidentiality requirements. - Provide remote support to customer base. Qualifications - Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, routing, firewalls, VLANs). - Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and command-line usage. - Interest in cybersecurity, telecom infrastructure, or law enforcement technologies. - Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail. - Willingness to travel occasionally to customer locations (domestic and international). - Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a customer-facing technical role. - Proficiency in managing a structured workload via a customer ticket portal; must be able to categorize issues by priority (P1–P3), conduct thorough initial investigations to gather technical requirements, provide consistent customer updates, and drive issues to resolution within defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) timers. Requirements - Exposure to Wireshark or similar packet analysis tools. - Knowledge of virtualization (VMware, KVM) or containerization (Kubernetes, Docker). - Scripting knowledge (Bash, Python) for automation and log parsing. - Understanding of telecom networks, mobile core (3G/4G/5G), or ISP environments. - Familiarity with ETSI/CALEA lawful intercept standards and protocols. - Proficiency in using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, etc.) to enhance productivity, automate workflows, generate content, or support decision-making. Role Overview We are looking for a Process Engineer to support our Shared Services team at LifeStance Health. You will assist the Shared Services teams in the day-to-day operations and coordination of the teams’ activities. This role is critical to keep the team moving forward on a fast-paced schedule, managing the complex coordination across different streams. This position is a remote role with the ability to sit within any US locality. Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 Annually with potential bonus Responsibilities: - Provide Value Stream Mapping across cross functional teams for companywide processes - Design processes with a keen eye for efficiency, standardization, and identifying key enablers that need to precede new systems and tools implementation - Evaluate current operational performance and provide strategic plan for improvements using available information including data, feedback, and other information - Design and/or redesign end-to-end business processes - Utilize modeling and simulation development knowledge to project impacts of upstream changes on business operations such as operational KPIs and Shared Services staffing needs - Identify and evaluate key discussion items and enable executive decision making - Shift between high level strategic intent and diving into the details as needed - Build relationships and support communication with necessary internal and external stakeholders - Monitor, control, and manage business operations to meet the team’s expectations and company goals - Liaise between departments to ensure smooth operations delivery - Coordinate and manage project tasks to ensure project delivery within allotted budget and timelines - Create and maintain internal systems that allow the team to work and share knowledge efficiently - Assist internal teams to achieve performance targets - Identify problems in process and resolve them in a quick and timely manner - Follow standard operating procedures for efficient business operations - Maintain clear and accurate operations documents/procedures for reference purposes Skills & Experience: - Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred - Six Sigma certification required - 5+ years of relevant experience in process engineering, project management, program management, VSM, Agile, Lean and Six Sigma - Advanced experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc. Experience working with MS Project, SmartSheet, Monday.com, Jira or related project management tools - Excellent presentations skills, particularly with executive level presentations - Experience partnering with IT to enable new systems integrations - Excellent proactive problem-solver who can leverage resources and execute tasks through completion - Effective with project management, multi-tasking, understanding needs, and balancing priorities - Excellent communicator with strong positive interpersonal, oral, and written communication. Job Description Summary As a contributing member of the LOCA, Containment & Stability Analysis Team, you will perform plant thermal-hydraulic safety analysis with two-phase thermal hydraulic analysis techniques. You will support reload and design applications for Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) plants, including currently operating BWR plants as well as new plants (BWRX, Natrium) operating or planned worldwide. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities - Perform plant thermal hydraulic evaluations and analyses in the areas of ECCS LOCA, Containment, HELB, Fire Safe Shutdown, Annulus Pressurization Loads, and RIPD analyses. - General expertise in two-phase thermal hydraulic analysis techniques. - Take responsibility for fuel project activities including reload analyses, methods implementation, power uprates, new fuel introductions, and safety analysis support for emergent fuel issues. - Perform in cross-disciplinary settings, engaged with interfacing teams responsible for mechanical design, core design, licensing, systems design, or other affiliated organizations to find optimum customer solutions. - Prepare, document and present technical data to internal/external customers. - Provide technical mentoring to support team development and knowledge management, including procedure development and adherence. - Develop/deliver training course offerings in support of external commercial requests, as well as for internal audiences for knowledge management, and knowledge capture and transfer. - Lead team process improvements to drive speed and simplification. - Ensure work is performed with high quality in accordance with regulatory rules and regulations, customer requirements, and business quality assurance standards. Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical, or similar) from an accredited college or university. - Minimum 1 year of experience in T-H Nuclear Plant Safety Analysis.
