Staff ETL Engineer
Unity
• Design and operate large-scale data pipelines that generate training datasets used for machine learning training and experimentation • Develop infrastructure that supports distributed training workflows using technologies such as Pytorch, Ray Data, and Ray Train, etc. • Integrate ML pipelines with workflow orchestration systems (e.g., Flyte, Airflow, or similar) to enable reliable multi-stage training workflows • Improve reproducibility and observability of ML pipelines through dataset validation, monitoring, and automated testing • Optimize performance and resource utilization across distributed compute systems used for data processing and model training • Partner closely with ML engineers to enable efficient large-scale experimentation and model iteration • Lead architectural improvements to ensure our offline ML pipelines remain scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient
Job Requirements
- Strong experience building large-scale ML pipelines
- Experience working with distributed computing frameworks such as Ray,
- Spark, Flink and familiarity in the Ray ecosystem (Ray Data, Ray Train) for distributed data processing and model training
- Experience building infrastructure for training data generation, dataset preparation, or ML feature pipelines
- Deep experience designing and operating production-grade data pipelines
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience working with large-scale distributed workloads
- Experience with modern data infrastructure (data lakes, warehouses, orchestration systems, streaming platforms)
- Strong systems thinking, with the ability to reason about performance, scalability, reliability, and cost tradeoffs in distributed systems
- Proven ability to lead technical direction and influence architectural decisions across teams without formal authority

About the Role We are looking for a Digital Analytics Manager to manage key components of our website analytics ecosystem and support marketing performance measurement. This role will help ensure reliable tracking, reporting, and insights that inform improvements to the website experience and drive conversion among referring providers and prospective patients and families. This is an individual contributor role and a fully remote position. The Digital Analytics Manager owns the implementation and ongoing maintenance of analytics tracking and reporting across our website and application funnels. Working closely with marketing, product, engineering, and data teams, this role helps ensure high-quality data collection, supports automated reporting, and provides analysis that helps improve website performance and patient acquisition. Responsibilities - Own the technical implementation of GA4, Mixpanel, Webflow Analyze, and Google Tag Manager (GTM) across the website and application funnel. - Partner with marketing and website leadership to implement measurement frameworks and KPIs that track website performance and patient acquisition. - Maintain the configuration of OursPrivacy to ensure website and marketing tracking remain HIPAA-compliant and secure. - Collaborate with product and engineering teams to support accurate tracking between website activity and backend application data. - Maintain consistent UTM and tracking parameters to support accurate attribution of website traffic and enrollments. - Partner with the data science team to query and analyze web behavioral data in Snowflake, connecting it with backend datasets to better understand user journeys from first visit to enrollment. - Build and maintain Looker dashboards that provide accessible reporting on marketing and website performance. - Document tagging, naming conventions, and analytics processes to support consistent data collection and reporting. - Analyze website traffic, user behavior, and customer journeys to identify trends and opportunities to improve the user experience and drive patient enrollments. - Support collaboration with the data science team to help develop behavioral datasets that inform analytics and modeling. - Conduct routine data audits and site health checks to ensure continuity between website activity, marketing channels, and patient data. - Serve as a key analytics resource for the marketing team, helping stakeholders interpret data and use reporting tools effectively.
