Data Operations Team Lead

Clarity

We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-obsessed Team Lead to manage and scale our data operations function. This person will oversee the full-time Data Specialists and build, train, and manage a seasonal contract workforce of Data Specialists during peak periods. This is not just a people management role — it is a systems-building role. The right candidate will be deeply process-driven, passionate about quality, and product-minded in their approach. They will constantly ask: How do we automate this? How do we reduce manual effort? How do we improve quality while increasing speed? You will be responsible for operational excellence today while designing the automated, AI-enabled workflows of tomorrow. What You Will Do - Recruit, onboard, and train seasonal and full time Data Specialists, creating comprehensive training materials and ensuring adherence to accuracy, consistency, and data‑security expectations. - Approach operations as a product: measurable, improvable, and scalable - Design processes that can scale without linear headcount growth - Lead initiatives to drive automation and AI tool adoption to reduce manual tasks and enhance speed and accuracy - Design and implement a scalable QA program including audit processes and feedback loops - Continuously refine performance metrics, accuracy benchmarks and error thresholds as processes evolve - Identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions - Maintain documentation and SOPs - Be the operational point person across Clarity for all things related to the data team - Serve as a collaborative partner to the Director of Support, sharing insights, identifying trends, and working together to improve cross‑team processes. - Partner with product and client success to continuously explore improvements to the tooling, process and visibility - Be subject matter expert for the internal Clarity manual verification process and content - Foster a culture of analytical problem‑solving, ownership, and attention to detail within the team.
