You’ll bridge the gap between our customers' ambitious ideas and the power of our AI platform, turning complex business needs into functional, elegant applications. You won't just be demonstrating features; you'll be building tailored solutions, proofs-of-concept, and innovative workflows that showcase what’s truly possible with Base44. This is a critical, cross-functional role where you will work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product to drive adoption, shape our roadmap, and ensure our users can build the software they envision. What you’ll do: - Partner with Sales and lead technical calls, understanding customer goals, challenges, and requirements. - Design, build, and present custom demos and proofs-of-concept (POCs) on the Base44 platform that solve real-world business problems for prospective and existing customers. - Serve as the go-to technical expert for enterprise customers on the Base44 platform, its capabilities, integration patterns, and best practices. - Debug and troubleshoot complex technical challenges during the pre-sales and implementation phases, identifying creative solutions and workarounds. - Translate customer feedback and complex use cases into actionable insights for the Product and Engineering teams, directly influencing the future of the platform. - Develop and maintain a library of reusable solutions and best-practice guides to empower both customers and internal teams. - Stay on the cutting edge of our platform’s features, constantly experimenting and pushing the boundaries of what can be built. Qualifications - 2+ years of hands-on experience in a software engineering role, specifically focusing on Full Stack or Backend development. - Proven experience building and delivering complex demos or POCs for a SaaS or platform product. - Hands-on experience with web technologies, including APIs, data structure, webhooks, and data modeling. - Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. - A creative and strategic problem-solver who is passionate about finding elegant solutions to challenging problems. - Experience with JavaScript, React, or other modern frontend frameworks is a significant advantage. - Passion for and experience with low-code/no-code or AI-driven development tools. Additional Information We’re Base44, a newly acquired part of Wix, on a mission to change how software gets built. Our AI-powered platform allows anyone to create custom software applications using natural language—no traditional coding required. We operate like a startup within Wix: fast-moving, collaborative, and focused on solving complex problems with simple, elegant solutions. As our first sales hire, you’ll play a key role in shaping our go-to-market approach, working closely with our founders and Wix leadership to bring this transformative technology to market. At this time, we are exclusively considering candidates who are currently based in the U.S. East Coast Expected base compensation salary range $ 130,000 - $160,000. In addition to the base pay this role includes variable compensation earned and company RSUs as part of the compensation package. Final package may vary and will be determined by various factors including location the role is expected to be performed, shift, candidate profile and ideal qualifications. For U.S. employees, this role is currently eligible for a benefit package that includes competitive medical, dental and vision insurance, a retirement savings plan, wellness benefits, travel expenses and subsidized lunch no matter where you live. Other benefits vary from country to country.
