Integrations Engineer

• Develop and maintain public APIs: Build new API endpoints and improve existing ones to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability for developers who integrate with our platform. • Work on e-commerce plugins: Maintain, improve, and develop plugins for platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, and others. Ensure they stay compatible with platform updates, are easy to install, and provide a seamless user experience. • Build and improve third-party integrations: Develop and enhance integrations with third-party services. Focus on reliability, data accuracy, and efficient syncing between systems. • Collaborate on technical planning and problem-solving: Participate in planning discussions to architect new features, solve technical challenges, and improve developer experience both internally and externally. • Handle integration-related customer support: Assist customers and the support team with technical issues related to integrations — debugging problems, analyzing API requests/responses, and providing solutions or fixes.

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with Laravel, Vue.js, PHP Core, JavaScript, and HTML.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks (we mostly use Laravel) and Vue.js.
  • Experience with AJAX, JSON and JSONP concepts.
  • Extensive knowledge of how APIs work.
  • An investigative mindset—this position requires thinking outside the box.
  • The ability to write clean code with test coverage and to build scalable applications.
  • Familiarity with SQL and optimizing queries.
  • Proficiency with code versioning tools, such as Git.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience writing WordPress plugins and/or Shopify apps is a bonus.
